Should I purchase 4” or 6” trailer hitch drop for my 2019 SCAB? I will pull a 20’ boat that weighs 5,000 lbs (including trailer)? Attach is the Weigh Safe hitch I am planning to purchase. Appreciate the help!!

I pulled a Yamaha Jet boat #3000 with a 2" drop on my last truck.

Since it is adjustable go with the longer drop, you can adjust it up if needed.

Wouldn't the amount of drop needed depend on the height of the tongue trailer? Or are all boat trailer heights the same? Maybe I'm missing something here...

That appears to be an adjustable hitch in the pic. Also looks like it goest to 6" of drop so i would say you are covered for most applications. How much drop is really dictated by where the trailer toung is. You typically want the traoler to sit level when towing so adjust hitch acvordingly.
