Hi: See photo attached. The Grey paint on my steering wheel is starting to chip or fade. Does anyone know what color I need to touch up this paint. Is anyone else having this issue?

Pop the trim pieces off, light sand them, and paint them magnetic grey.

any touch up paint you put on there is going to stand out like a sore thumb.

alternatively you can take it back to the dealer and try to make them replace it under warranty. You could replace it from TASCA or eBay too.

Are you out of the 3 year warranty period yet? A really good detail shop could probably fix that for you, I haven't got a clue, other than trying to match it up at an auto parts store.

That does not appear to be a chip/flake caused by a defect; it has the characteristics of an abrasion/damage. As the others mentioned, you may be able to touch it up yourself.

I lack the fine talent to correct something like that and make it match. I think @Bhollier did a pretty full trim pull and paint and I think if I were in your shoes I’d pull it, try to get a body shop to paint match and air brush the whole thing. I can air brush but corrections are just too much of a chore to me.

You are correct. I pulled all my interior trim pieces and had them painted piano black. Also had each of parts ceramic coated so they wouldn't scratch or chip.
