Is there a question?
Not sure but glad he posted it. I’m hooking up now
Thanks for this -- the manual makes it look like they are exposed on the far passenger side of the fire wall. Mine were neatly tucked up under the larger wiring clamps.
NOTE - my wires did not match up to the owners manual map of which went with each AUX switch. We had to do them by trial. The wire colors were totally different...
You maybe right.
As someone posted:
Aux 1 - Green/White - 15A
Aux 2 - Brown/Blue - 15A
Aux 3 - Gray/Yellow - 10A
Aux 4 - Green/Yellow - 10A
Aux 5 - Brown/White - 5A
Aux 6 - Green/Orange - 5A
So did they change it in 17 so that the wires from the AUX switch go to the engine bay first instead of behind the glovebox?
Yes, on the Gen 2 trucks, the wires under the hood are hot. No need to connect behind the glove box.
Thats great, thanks for the reply! I am in Houston also. Who does these light installs around here? I will most likely do it myself, but I am always wondering about reputable shops in my area.
