I bought a 2014 6.2L raptor last year. It now has around 160k a couple weeks ago I started having a really weird problem. I would be driving on an incline and my truck would shift from 6th gear down to 5th, then I would slowly lose all rpm until my truck turned off. The gas did not work, power steering was gone, while this happened I would lose oil pressure… however I would not hear any strange sounds so I don’t believe I actually lost the pressure. Initially I bought a new oil pressure switch and on the test drive it did it again. Recently is started doing it while I am sitting in park in a parking lot on lever ground. I am out of ideas any help is greatly appreciated THANK YOU!

sounds like the truck shut off a lot sooner than you think. i believe you lost oil pressure, power steering and throttle when the truck shut off and the speed and rpm kept the engine going until it finally didnt have enough to keep it going. random thought here. whats the air filter look like? spark plugs? any dtc present? can you scan it?

Well I don’t drive my truck a ton anymore because I have a work vehicle now. It has shut off about 5 times but every time it flashes a wrench and a low oil pressure code. When the truck dies and I put it in park it starts right back up and the codes are gone. I plug it into a scanner tool and there are no codes that it picks up.

Check for loose hose clamps on all the intake tubes from filter box to manifold , a loose clamp will cause unmetered air to get into air stream . Causing stalls
