This is my '65...pulled out of a field when I was 13, dad and I rebuilt it for a few years and then I drove it my senior year of HS. A few years ago I took everything underneath the sheet metal (besides engine) apart and did all new track suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, 9 inch rear and limited slip, and wheels/tires. Made it a whole different car, although it needs more power. Next stage (in a few years) will be a motor and 5 speed swap.

Nice pony. This is my '66. The 5 speed is easy and we'll worth it.

How much power are you putting through your T-5, and any issues? That’s the one concern I have - building a 400 hp or so 302 and grenadine a transmission.

I'm at about 325 currently... Planning on upgrading to AFR heads which should bump me to close to 400. No issues as of yet. Been running the Cobra spec t5 for about 7 years.
