I just wanted to post how thoroughly impressed I am with my new 2019 raptor 802A. I have had loaded up F150s for a few trucks now, Denalis, before that. I had no idea the raptor was such a upgrade from the regular F150. This thing is so refined, comfortable, fast, nimble, easy to drive, and looks incredible. I am a vehicle SNOB its very hard for me to find something that I like. I always modify things with form and function in mind so that I have very fast, and unique vehicles. I also drive them a lot so they have to work and not be garage art. As info I have a 1993 Mazda RX7 with a stroker LS aluminum V8 in it vs the rotary. Just stuff like that trips my trigger.

This raptor is so impressive! I'm going to do a Tune and some minor forscan mods and probably cal it a day!

Since we all have raptor we know this but as a 'newbie' I never knew what I was missing and hopefully people debating on the sticker shock of a Raptor can read and I assure you they are worth every penny!

Thanks for the great info on this site everyone!

Feel no shame friend! I felt the same way once I got behind the wheel of my '18.

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve got about 600 miles on my ‘19 802a. I’ve never owned a truck so this is my first and I am more than happy.

Now, if I could just fit it in the garage.

nice.....so does the rx7 under steer real bad now? Hanging a few hundred extra pounds over the nose has to do something. looks cool.

Congrats on the truck. blue was my 2nd choice for color.

Nope that's a misconception when people first started and were swapping iron block SBC and Ford Small blocks into them. All aluminium and battery in rear bins and some some other strategic placement of weight (ford 8.8 rear diff) and its 49.5/50.5 weight Dist now. factory is 50/50. Total weight is 2846 lbs something like that. Has AC, ABS, Traction Control, I even added Cruise last year. The best handling car that has creature comforts I have ever driven. That includes a litany of everything, I am willing to try anything once! It is basically a go kart that can carry a passenger and keep them cool in the hot summer if need be :)

So jealous of that rx7. Had a silver 93 when I was in Okinawa from 2001 to 2005. Hated having to sell that beast. To this day still the most fun car I have ever owned.
