Test drove a '19 a bit ago. When using the Menu to change the driving mode it seemed that the transfer case was REALLY quick to shift into 4A or 4L. Even though I was going thru the options without really stopping, any sort of delay on my part seemed to put the system into that mode.

Is it just the nature that the mode selection and transfer case shifting is fast??

I’ve got a ’17, I’d agree it’s fairly quick, 2h to 4a is an easy swap on the dash as well. I honestly didn’t put a timer on her or anything but it’s acceptable.

Sounds like it's a normal thing then.

I don't think it's bad, just to be changing modes if you pause too long the transfer case is already shifting. Thanks!
