Who is using 18" rims on the truck for offroad use.
How is your ride comfort on rough terrain with 18" rims ad 35x12.5 tires size

Shouldn't be able to tell a difference in ride unless you have really stiff tires.

Is hard to find tires, not E rated for 18" rims, most of the tires are E rated for max load.

As well most of the pre runners and baja trucks use 17" or smaller rims for a 37" or 39" tires.

I think, big rims are for haul and tow veicles for onroad use.

Yep, nothing wrong with 17's

More sidewall is a good thing off-road as well. Lets your tires flex a bit to help soak up bumps.

I doubt I'll upgrade beyond 17" wheels.

there is not a difference, I have helped many customers put 18's on them

Yes, there is i have 18x9 -12 ofsets fuels rims with 35x12.5 tires, the truck steering shake a lot at low speed, as well many of the 35" tires for 18" rims are rated E for heavy loads.

That's because of either your aggressive tread or your tire or your tires are out of balance. Your steering wheel doesn't shake because you add 1" to your wheel diameter.

They may be a difference but it's not your wheels, it's your tires man
