Menerso... I shot a few pics this afternoon but they didn't come out all that well as I was outside. The pic Duc posted is damn close... Mine are murked out so from any distance the only visual cue is the projector glass and the amber evil ring. I'll try some pics again in the garage, but I'd...
Aaagggh!!! I hate those damn sensors. My wife's ride has them on both ends. Sounds like Chernobyl every effing time we're in a parking lot.
Exactly, how much shit does one need to back up...
I went with the following:
reflector blacked out - yes
turn signal blacked out - yes
side amber marker tinted - no
shroud type - Gatling Gun 2.0 Painted dark
led rings - amber evil
led rings behind the shroud or on top - top
bulb temp - 5000K,
I hit the middle for bulb temp and...
Took a few night shots and thought I'd post a couple. One is simply the ambers, the second is a full on assault powering the projectors on high and and both sets of D2's for comparison... Hard to get the full effect of just how bright this setup is via a photo, but its damn painful to look at...
Just finished my install, and thought I'd upload a couple pics... Awesome lights... Just what I was looking for. Ducati was great to work with and really backs the lights with support as well....
Highly reccommended!!!
I've had mine on for the last nine months... Still love them... My problem is what to put on up fitter 1... Had planned on a rigid 40" but really don't need it, especially since I've got a set of Ducati retros in the works...
Congrats!!!
My experience: pot o gold at the end of that blackened rainbow... Keep your head up and movin forward. You'll be back in the saddle in no time. Sorry to hear about it though. I know it's a long hard road to get to that ending...
Hahahhaaaahaha....... That chit is getting old, I heard that same setup when I picked mine up last year... Doesnt matter what color you're running, hit a waterbar doin 70 = pretzel frame... Luckily I haven't pulled that trick yet, and bluie's are damn rare up here...
After Greg's reply, spent some time reading about them and from what I can gather the duratracs are "real soft and made for colder climates". Also it seems that they wear pretty fast if used when hot...
They sound like they will work pretty well for winter tires... Just have to figure out...
I'm sure this has been covered before, but I'm looking for some ideas regarding snow tires for my Rap... We're having a crap winter of really wet snow on top of frozen road... My stockers aren't cutting it, leaving me underwhelmed...
Any advice for a better option???
Also, gives me an...
Haha, love it!!!
As for input on a bluie.... What can one say, it's not a color for everyone but I love mine... I was skeptical at first as blue was lower down on my list of prefs but my only option other than waiting for a 12 was a blue in another state that my dealer could trade for...
Jugg.... I felt your pain. Hated those fing clamps, rotating sob's. My mindset was that this is a truck and the interior of the bed will show that. Mines not a street queen and will be used. Still hated the fing clamps. I sealed the drain holes in the front of the cover and will not be punching...
