I have Borlas on my 2010 6.2, they are on the loud side. I can hear my truck start from 50 feet away and through a few walls. Can still hear it idling if its real quite.
Install was tough for me because I used regular truck jack and stands. A lot of turning here and there to get it over the...
same here I dont trust phones to store my data. The bad thing with mine though is the alarm still goes off if i dont have that dongle to turn it off. My alarm is a Ford aftermarket dealer install.
Cant really blame Ford for not being Big Borther but, that Dealership would lose my business for...
yup its a 'dude magnet', young to old I'm constantly stared at when driving it. I get laughed at by my friends when we're in it. Now I guess I know how all those women feel like when I stare at them.
Only gotten good comments about it and that same list of questions.
I thought the samething, they may be confusing KPH with MPH, which would make 140 kph = 87 mph
wouldnt the drive shaft have issues after 110 mph? I thought that was its max speed.
It had a lot of water in it, took 2 days for the powercore to dry on the outside surfaces. Not sure about the internal parts of that filter. Guess if air can get to it so can water. I think it just kept building up over time and never really had a chance to dry completely.
Got my CAI lid in...
there are just some things in life you cant UNsee, my eyes are bleeding now.
I would have to disagree you sir. I'm back on stock again after using a aFe CAI for 2 years and there is a noticable difference. CAI is way better than stock.
Im back on stock after a filter issue with...
Just got her back from the dealer and man did I miss my truck. Total damage was almost $200 for repairs, maybe another $60 for the rental.
Water had gotten into the MAF sensor and they were able to dry it out to reuse it. They did warn me that its questionable on how long it will last...
lol, I'm begining to think the same thing. I think she's punishing me.
I think I did get gains on this, accelaration improved greatly when I put the CAI on. Thats only going by my butt dyno though. I also like the sound improvement comming from the engine bay.
I had a tune from 5star in it...
I've had my AFE on since I got the truck but, I also had a pre filter on the AFE oiled filter. Never had any water get into the filter, seen the pre filter with some wet spots but never soaked. Didn't have one with the powercore, dont know why I did'nt think of it. Feel very stupid about this...
Well they found a shit load of codes comming from the MAF sensor but nothing from the motor. Apprently my Powercore filter I put on a few months ago was allowing a lot of water into the intake. He said that thing was completely soaked. Are those Powercores filters only for the desert?
They...
I cant see that happening the engine light is on and the idle is really bad so if they cant find a code or the problem then they shouldn't be touching my truck anyway.
I have been hearing a ticking sound and I even posted in that TSB thread. Didn't think of it until now and its at the dealer at the moment so the warranty should cover it.
Funny as that is, Yes where he makes those sounds in the middle it sounds almost like that.
Im running stock tune with my CAI.
I did notice that my Remote Start didnt work but I just ignored that at the time. It started, idled, and drove through the parking lot just fine. Got on the Gas...
Well on my way to work today and just after getting on the main road the motor make 2 lurching noises and dies. 2010 with 16k miles on it, never been off roading and I have to deal with this. It's at the dealers now and I wont know until sometime tomorrow what it wrong.
The motor starts but...
Had the same thing happen with my truck the first week I had it. But the user wasn't a non stripping red head. It was my 2ft tall 5 year nephew who I told not to open the door because, I was stupid enough to park next to a cyclone fence. That was 2 years ago and it still hurts to this day.
When I added mine I actually moved the MAF to the CAI before installing it. It was easier for me that way. The MAF is on the underside of the tube.
Its been a while, I bought mine 2 years ago right around when they first came out for the Raptor. In the instructions I got it said use the stock...
