Finally installed the brake light last night. Took about two hours; and that was mainly just taking my time and cleaning up dirt & debris, and making the wiring tight. It was simple, but not because of any directions from the manufacture (holy hell would it kill a company to put together a...
:) YEs, package was delivered a few weeks ago. Now the waiting is on my side; need to finish a kitchen remodel first. Soon! And I'll let you all know how the install goes.
Thanks for the help. Happened to see @4x4TruckLEDs.com was running a 4th of July special and had them in stock, so placed my order. Let the waiting begin...
Sounds like my planned light set-up is the go-to. I definitely want to run the ambers for any group runs. the cargo light is bonus. I was not thinking of running them on a day-to-day basis. That said. I think the simple harness is the way to go. I want to have the cargo on the existing...
Thxs @BenBB for the quick reply. You may have mentioned in this thread, but what lens did you go with, why, and did they met your expectations? I was leaning toward Amber driving combo on the outside and a white work scene light, all sport, for the center.
Reviving this Gen1 focused thread. Looking to buy GJ Motorsports brake light soon. Scanning the threads for a buyers guide (benefits for the different light options and wiring harness) and install instructions but not having any luck. Anyone know of one out there? Or willing to play Q&A...
@The Car Stereo Company @Ezekiel210 @weimer thank you all for the input. I just finished installing the replacements and it was super simple. I did not have to take the windows out and the only tool i used was a trim-removal prybar.
The trick is:
1. Pull the belt molding up in the middle and...
Thanks for the response @The Car Stereo Company
To be clear, i am referring to the outside trim (attached pics). This still requires removing the window? I’ll search the forum you suggest for more info.
Hello, my 2013 has some "bubbling" developing in the lower window trim on all 4 doors. It looks like the metal embedded in the trim is rusting / oxidizing / degrading and causing the issue. As far as I can tell, the door panel itself is fine.
I've ordered replacements (apparently it's called...
I think There was a thread opened earlier on this:
https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/fox-2-5-front-shocks-scab-screw.56091/
Not sure if that ever really resolved...
I, too, am looking and curious to the answer. Hoping no difference is the case.
Closing the loop on this old thread. I orders from Raptor Retrofit about 9 Months ago and have been running the lights since. Very happy with the results. High-beams were a nice feature for the Wisconsin winter.
I load my CB550 into my ‘13 quite a bit (The bike is temperamental). Most of the time I park the truck in a way to lower over all height then just push it up a ramp. Put it in sideways and close the tail gate. But I’ve got my height, a short bike, and a few hundred pound advantage.
Thanks! I think you answered my main question: when you mod them do you keep the stock parts or replace. Sounds like it’s up to me. I’m heading over to your site now to resume my drooling.

I’ve had this issue for a while and found putting a spacer on the part of the pedal that contacts the sensor alleviates the issue. Until the spacer wears down or falls off. Is there an adjustment I am missing or a more permanent fix that’s been found to correct? About to try another spacer...
Thanks. It warmed up around here and the light is back to "working", altough it's a little slower than the passenger side. I wondered about dirty getting up in there. Just a crappy design.
I didn't find much more in my search, but only because I got distracted by Raptor Retrofit and their...
Appears I just developed this issue on my 2013 with OEM HID. Drivers side won’t return to low beam. I have to tap the head lamp a few time to get the shutter to move back.
I’ve done some google searching and have learned how the lights work, but not really why it appears to stick. Replacement...
Glued, taped, shaved, and reinstalled. Threaded the bolt for the extension through the red strap looped on the foam. Next time, I need it and it ends up being stuck, i’ll Be putting pressure on the extension and foam instead of just the foam.
Found the part number on the side of the foam:
BL3V-17B051-AA
Gonna google it and see what I find.
On a side note, I found all the pieces (2 broke off). Going to try gluing it back together, maybe reinforce with duct trap, trim it down a little like a guy did earlier and see if that’ll do...
Replacements foam or other ideas
Reviving an old thread:
Had a flat at the start of the year and got to use the jack in a real world situation (Woot?). Forgot the spacer on the driver side at first (turns out you do need it) and had to put the flat back on the truck, drop the truck, and lift...
First pic shows where the hose connects to the bed.
Second pic shows the hose from the bed to the axle.
Third shows the hose at the axle (sort of). Notice where the axle is wet. It's not leaking at the cover.
All pics taken on the driver's side from behind the axle (I was under the spare...
Thanks guys. Knew something wasn't right. BigGriff023 what you described is exactly what I am seeing. If you get the TSB info, please let us know. I'll go down to my dealership with the info and see what they do.
Ruger, saw you note about relocating and a filter on the other thread. Not...
Hey, hoping for some guidance and hoping you all can help.
I am getting a puddle under my rear axle. Smells like diff fluid. Looking under the truck, it seems to be coming from a hose the connects fro the axle a crossmember on the bed. Searching the forum, I found a thread calling it a...
Spotted at the dealership in Janesville last month and took this pic with mine. Had a sold sticker on it. Went by there this week, it was still sitting there without the sold sticker. Guess the dealer was asking too much; they were when I was shopping for mine. Pretty much why I purchased...
