State Inspection Question I've got the 87 Economy tune on my 2010 6.2 raptor... Can I pass state inspection which includes the smog and sensor tests without returning to stock? If I need to return to stock, how much driving before the sensors will read ready for testing? Thanks Toby

They re-flashed the PCM when troubleshooting a transmission issue that kept putting the truck into limp mode... Turns out it was a broken connector on the wiring harness that intermittently lost communication with the PCM.

I purchased an SCT Tuner from 5 Star and have been pleased with it. I put the stock tune back on for a dealer visit, and I think they flashed the PCM. Without thinking, I put the performance tune back on... Do you think the tuner copied the NEW stock program before replacing it? Thanks, Toby

I have the 4s and a 2010 raptor. The phone and music both work well through Bluetooth and I have no complaints. I've had a few issues listening to voicemail and I've had a few issues with Siri. It doesn't read texts for me, but I haven't updated sync either. Toby

At 11,000 miles the truck kept getting stuck in limp mode. Turns out my wiring harness had a defective connector on the transmission. Once replaced all was good.

I heard prices were increased by BAK... I was lucky to find that TruckChamp.com still had some units in stock at the old price. I got mine with shipping at $807. Toby

Raptor as in the Ford Raptor? Thinking it unlikely the Thunder Tiger Raptor would do much to keep you safe. BTW - best truck I've ever had. I understand completely going 60 on a dirt road. :)

Thanks... Just nervous about long term wear. I spoke to the local town mechanic and he was questioning my judgement. Font really want to go back to stock though. Toby

I've been running the 5 Star tune and really like the change in the response. Should I be worried about running lean? Toby
