Personally I'd skip Goo Gone, WD40, etc. Buy an eraser wheel for your drill, any parts of the decal that doesn't come off easily, the wheel will make it and the adhesive disappear.
I've used this 3M one as well as the knockoff of it. 3M works better and IMO I'd stick with name brand on new...
I started with wanting to build the FF GTM over a decade ago until I read more about it which pushed me to the SLC.
You're not kidding about the time commitment, that's probably the hardest part of it all. especially if no AC or heat in the shop like me, lol.
I recommend doing it if it's your cup of tea. There's no regrets at all, but like anything you do for first time, there's always something you wished you'd done a little differently... like I should have put cup holders in it. Haha, but very true!
As soon as it's registered and I put 100 miles on it, to make sure everything works as intended and engine is little more broken in, I'll be happy to get some videos to share.
Awesome, must be internet connection here. It'll be taken to both kind of tracks, just for kicks. While it's road ready, I'm in the middle of the registration process now so I can legally tear up the streets. I think it's been right at 3yrs since I sold the Raptor.
Here's a short walk around...
I just shipped my Superlite Coupe from Louisiana to Connecticut thru Stewart Transport (enclosed trailer) and was 1650 miles $1800. I also shipped the same car from Michigan to Louisiana which was about 300 miles less for $1300 thru the same company. I recommend them for sure, as for Todd if...
Came across this today, appears to be LED replacements for the mirror flood lights.

THANKS! Bronze looks amazing on avalanche grey, it's going to be hard not to go with that color, although white with a light pearl in it is a close runner up. This is a VERY hard choice!
Thanks! Your truck has the perfect stance, really dig it!
You happen to have any other pictures to share in different lighting? Post all you want, I don't mind. :) Thanks!!
Wanted to bump this in case anyone else has pictures of bronze wheels on Avalanche Grey?
My SLC has bronze-ish wheels right now, probably more towards the brown side unless they're in direct light. Towards the end of the year, the SLC will be getting paint and seriously considering avalanche...
I know Raptors don't have fog lights, but wanted to post anyways for anyone that drives a beater daily or maybe for wife's vehicle (my wife is also running these as well). They makes these for most, if not all, headlight/fog light bulbs sizes. Something different and kind of the best of both...
I had a Remington 870 SuperMag shotgun professionally hydrodipped several years ago for duck hunting. It looked nice after getting it back, but was disappointed how it held up in real world use. I always cased my gun when transporting it and was gentle with it when out of the case. Would I...
Random thought of the day.... to update my last thread on FRF and pretty excited still and wanted to share. :) Hard to imagine it's been over a year without my Raptor and I've definitely missed owning it, not to mention it'd saved me a little headache on more than 1 occasion.
I had been...
raptorretrofit I believe sells a wiring harness so it's plug and play into the 2013+ projector headlights. You can also search on threads I started back in 2013 for an alternative way to install 2013+ projector headlights for $350 without cracking open the headlight even.
EDIT:
Here's the link...
A load resistor could fix your signal issue, may be worth a try... but when you put your tail lights in, you may be back in the same boat. I tried EVERYTHING with my truck and came up empty. I tried only front LEDs, only rear LEDs, both LEDs, load resistors on them, different value resistors...
I'll start a build thread in the general forum when it gets here and put a link here when I do.
I did get a spare tail light and got it apart over the weekend to figure out some retrofitting for it since I want LEDs and don't like the aftermarket options.
I know, sorry I just wasn't clear in my reply that the Coyote was the only Ford engine they've put in them. I'd pick an Eco-boost over a Coyote for tune-ability and, as odd as this is to say, the sound in hopes it'd some more exotic MAYBE
