The guy stated 5 wits it ltrs is probably just dropping the pan. That is about all you will get out of system when you drop the pan. That's y you have different answers.
I would start by starting the vehicle with the key. Then shut off the truck and see if it works. One honk usually means it been started remotely more then twice. The actual remote start antenna is located behind the glove box. It has one single wire coming out of it and it goes to the TPMS module.
If the remote start wAs used twice in a row it won't start a third time until the key is cycled. Start vehicle with key shut off then try your remote start. If the hood switch wasn't working properly it would honk 2times and not start.
What type of remote start do you have? Is it built into the key or a separate key fob? They are two different systems. Also when you try and remote start it how many times does the horn beep when it won't start? If you have a separate key fob based off of how many honks will tell you why it...
Not something I would risk with my vehicle. I wouldn't let K&N pay me to use one of there filters of any kind either. I understand the part of using a filter magnet to help filter out debris but you can get those for any oil filter. The way you clean them sounds time consuming. At 8microns...
I could be wrong since I haven't read a manual in while but It use to be 55 mph was max speed directed by ford to go into 4x4 safely without causing damage to components. Ill have to look to see if still is true.
So the issue now is only with heated seats turning on and you don't want them too? If that is so did you go into your remote start settings and turn them off
So in other words they reset keep alive memory and PCM program. It sounds like your fuel trim tables were all screwed up while in open loop. I guess what I'm still curious about is what caused the open loop fuel trims to change, I think I asked earlier but it was oil less filter on CAI. It's...
For years the oil is full on a Ford when the oil is halfway on the dipstick cross hatch. If you fill it to the top you are technically 1/2 quart overfull. It's been that way since the 4.6 & 5.4 came out in late 90's
I'm confused so has anyone found a DTC yet. With the wrench light on there should be a stored code. It won't show up in bezel dish due to its a power train code. Sounds like you just need to put a new throttle body on it. Good luck
1. Probably a burnt heating pad there is a big thread on it
2. There is a TSB for speakers sounding awful I don't know number off hand. I'm not sure it might only cover the front speakers.
3. I don't know if this is your issue but my sync is a PITA if I don't restart it every couple of days...
Watching someone do a PDI is like watching a fake porn it gives you something to watch but no excitement. Under certain customer requests I have not driven certain vehicles for high end mustangs the rich guys drive home and park. I'm not really sure what there is to do on a PDI besides distract...
My power steering makes same noise as pirates since it was new. For has always been great for power steering noises when it's a cold start up. I'm just to lazy to worry about it never had a problem in 15k
General grabbers have there place but I wouldn't run them in areas with a lot of snow. They will be fine for a trip or two though. Like bird said the momentum helps a lot. I see more people stuck with very aggressive treads like grabbers or mud terrains and its been my stick BFG that's pulled...
It could be a burnt out PCM driver but I would out rule anything until the camshaft wires get tested. Basically this was a new engine installed and it didn't work right since. Was there any welding done to the frame or body?
A hissing noise like a vacuum leak? I'm guessing it still idles fine. Depending on the scan tool and what PIDS your capable of viewing you could always see if the transmission is seeing all its inputs. It sounds like maybe a loose ground or a poor connection somewhere. Maybe a harness got...
Are you still receiving the same codes

If you changed the solenoid did you inspect the camshaft where the camshaft sensor reads. Just to make sure the fingers are straight and not bent or damaged. If you are...
