Is there anyway to determine invoice price using the vin number? I threw out a line to a few small town dealers that have had raptors on the lot for 6 months or more (probably because of the huge dealer "market adjustments" they added on). I doubt they would even consider showing me invoice...
Damn, that's some serious snow! Wish we could get snow like that here... We get wind blown sideways snow with mountainous drifts...
How are the builds progressing? I know you got a lot on your plate, especially with a baby. Hell, My 1.5 year old daughter could be a full time job..
If you ask me both types of retros look great! I am somewhere in dawson's line, I think, hopefully...My wallet and I jumped on the retro bandwagon headed towards the light in early October. :emotions36:
So far I have held off on buying a set of the $950 eBay 2013's, but they sure do look good!
Yea, I gotcha. Not really looking to be swayed one way or the other, just looking to kill time with everyone else in line. My biggest complaint with my 2012 F150 is the dismal light output from the factory..
Given my impatient nature and irritating indecisiveness I have been pouring over all manner of retros....from mild to wild, from retros into stock 11-12 housings to retros into 13 housings. Waiting on anything is pure torture for me.... Like a lot of you guys I want to have my cake and eat it...
I see what your saying, mount the tires on either side where the cans are, BUT what if you mounted them on either side and instead of having the gate swing open to one side you had the gate split in the middle and open to either side (1 tire each way). I am no engineer, but would that relieve...
Your in a better spot than I am... I opted for another FX4 in May, now I am getting rid of it for a 2013 Raptor... I haven't even tried to work a trade deal yet, but have had an abundance of interest coming from private parties, even asking 2-4k over what is still owed.
I have the Ford rubber bed mat in my FX4, one day in the sun and it was completely flat. Never had an issue with it rolling up or curling while loading. It's actually a VERY thick, VERY heavy duty mat.. I was surprised for 100 bucks.
I know the feeling... I got the run around, the BS, the complete and utter lies.... AND the complete idiots when looking for my 2012....
Even though I had opted to just get another FX4, I turned to Randy and the transaction was flawless and completely transparent. He has great communication...
Ducati, Have you ever though of throwing a calender up on the RR website that would tentatively show your schedule for everyone's build? Just curious, I noticed another retrofiter over on HIDplanet (TuxedoBlack11 I think) had one up on his site that just gave a rough 'slush' timeline of when...
I have no problems with 20's. I love the new black and gunmetal 20's on the new FX4's. when we built my truck I didn't look at anything but 20's, but I will add that the ride difference between a 37 and a 38" tire is noticeable.. the 38's really smoothed out the ride a lot :peace:
You could try a static strap... its old school, but may help a bit if you are OCD.
I got curious and tried one out 2 or so years ago, it did not eliminate the dust completely but seemed to slow it down, that year was also pretty humid and still windy for our area which cut down on the static...
Came across this "gem" while browsing autotrader trying to decide on a damn color...
Cars for Sale: 2012 Ford F150 SVT Raptor Crew Cab in Gilmer, TX 75644: Truck Details - 312196976 - AutoTrader.com
It's damned to a life as a street queen unless someone with a right mind saves it. The...
I can certainly see its functionality for a Rancher, and I know plenty of Ranchers on the high plains that utilize the hell out of Raptors for farm and ranch trucks.
I also like how it follows the contours and 'flow' of the front end, unlike the ranch hand bumpers for F150s that block turn...
