Wrong, they are painted, not sure if the process is like normal paint, but they are molded in somewhat that color and they paint/add to give the metallic grey color. I have tore woth of my rear ones up pretty good and wetsaned on them to try and smooth out the gashes and the top layer of...
Simple to understand why they work when you think about it. Driving in deep sand you want a flat profile on the sand that does not dig in, but rides on top of the sand. Hence the reason AT tires work 10X better than MT tires. You also air down as far as you can to give the most surface area on...
It's damn easy to mis-judge the back sides on some of those medium sided moguls, I hit a few and they fell away on the other side, you seemed to plow one pretty good.
Need a passenger side tail light. Guy at work was messing with my Tiregate and opened it too far and broke my tail light ( not happy with Tiregate that this is even possible) but whatever. Need a perfect tail light lens.
A little over 48" from the front of the tire to the front of the box. About 54 to the front frame of the tiregate if you were to remove the tire. The prerunner series is fully reversable though, you would have almost the whole box if you ran the tire outboard, but it would stick out the back of...
I had hoped it might be easier to switch betwee the taligate and the tiregate if I needed it back on, but it would be a hour or so job to switch back and forth. I think my dirtbike will still actually fit back there with the spare tire removed. Looks like te rear tire will wedge in the aft...
Me too, a little creative engineering and the back up camera is fully functional. Mounted right above the reciever hitch. Still gets a great picture only the angle being slightly off due to the lower mounting.
Looks good! I like the white skid, but I speak from experience, I don't care how much clear coat or plastic wrap you put on it the paint will never hold up if you do any significant offroading. My skids are powdercoated black and even being powdercoated are taking some damage.
This is the Race Runner series. Looks like a well made piece. Arrived at my door not packed very well. A bit of excessive rub marks in the powder, but Oh well. Looks pretty sweet, very sturdy and well made. I really liked the style of this one much better than their pre-runner series.
I personally think you guys are way overthinking the drive shaft issue. I would not be afraid running it up to those speeds for a short distance, but why? I definately did not buy my truck for 100mph+ plus speeds on the highway and could care less about MPG's
I have had their stuff on my mustangs and cobra's I know it's top notch, driving down to Anehiem and giving up my truck for a while would only be worth it to me though if it were a full system. Not that I would not enjoy a catback :)
