My truck has a little tick in the motor, it's worse at start up and then when it gets warmed up. Ford says its normal, I know the gm 6.0's and 6.2's are notorious for having a tick, so is this really normal or just ford trying to get out of a warranty claim?

I was driving a 2010 f150 xlt at work today and realized it had the new style key and remote are one piece kind of key while my Rap has just a normal seperate key and remote like the older fords. Is my key normal for the Rap? Or did I somehow get screwed out of the new style key?
