Wish Hutchinson made a beadlock for the Raptor. I run them on my Jeep and they are by far the best out there. Made in the USA, true double beadlock, DOT compliant and street legal.
Only con is they are heavy.
MBRP Turn Down for 6 months or so and still one of the best bang for buck purchases. Couldn't be happier.
Also if you jack the rear of the truck under the hitch you should be able to snake the stock exhaust out in one piece. I did.
20 minute install.

Guys, unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it after all. I have some suppliers coming in at the end of next week and it looks like they may stay through the weekend now.
Sorry, really want to flog the truck a bit. I'll be looking for the next one.
-Josh
Definitely no pressure. I'm attending to personally flog my Raptor, not sell trailers!!! But it's no problem to pull one with if you want to take a look.
-Josh
Count me in! Figure I better be there since I started the thread haha.

Actually I didn't know! I just happened to Google it the night before to see what time the show opened and saw that it was...
One of my old demo tents was an ARB that had an annex/changing room and I used it with our trailer, spring over and 35's. The mounting height is about 65", which as you mentioned is not ideal, in a perfect world you would want it a bit taller. But I just let it bunch some at the bottom...
Yes, there is room for 37's. I run 35's on my trailer that match my Raptor. We'll just move the fender up a bit for the 37's. It's also a good way to carry two spares, one with the truck and one under the tent on top of the lid.
In regards to the hitch, the front of the trailer is 2"...
No your right, here is a quick vid: Setting up an ARB Simpson III Rooftop Tent (ARB3101 RTT) - YouTube
It's in double time and a little bit different style tent, but you get the general idea. 5 minutes max to setup and take down.

Very good points. Autohome makes awesome RTT's, they are just big $$$, I drool over their carbon fiber version.
We are going to be testing a new version of a tent from a company out of Australia called Kakadu. It would be more of a permanent installation, but you only sleep 42" off the...
Missed this question! The standard Kukenam that we stock is 56" wide by 96" long. At 8' it is plenty long for you. Here's a link to the dimensions: Tepui Roof Top Tents - - Kukenam
Tepui also sells a larger version called the Gran Sabana; it's sleeping area is 72" wide by 96" in length...
Here's some pics of the tent opened up as well as the aluminum lid in action. Inside the tent is just a 4" foam mattress.
As for the cost. These things are not cheap to build. And honestly at this point it is 100% a business of passion than one of profits! Not that someone couldn't build...
Afternoon all,
Big Blue turned me onto this thread. As you all know I'm a Raptor owner and yes I also built trailers! We built our first trailer 2.5 years ago just for me to use personally. One thing led to another and now we have a 6000 sq. ft. shop/warehouse with parts for 40 trailer...
