For the front entry I pulled the trim panels on either side of the console (they run towards the center stack/under the dash). Everything was snap in but the very front (1 philips screw I believe, each side, all...
I was actually hoping you would take a look at one of the online sites and see how different the new motor is from the old one. Sorry I wasn't able to help you.
A question you might want to answer yourself is: From the Air Box Hose to the Intake Manifold, what parts are the same between the original Ecoboost motor and the redesigned Phantom unit in the Gen 2 Ford Raptor?
Bonus question: Do the motors have similar airflow characteristics or...
Let's see:
1. You could change your oil.
2. You can wait and change your oil late in the game, and no big deal.
3. You can wait and change your oil late in the game, and wonder if your problems might not be so bad if you had changed your oil early.
I went with #1 at 1500 miles and then...
One of the most important control inputs for safety is the vehicle's throttle system. There is no reason that I would put a 3rd party modification on without a lot of research.
I'm glad to hear that the results are just people assing up their own vehicles, and we are not getting reports of...
Got me. 2 things that I always do:

It's only oil change #3 on my '17: 1,500; 5000; 10,000
I'm on oil change #43 on my '11: 1,500; 5000; 10,000;....210,000 and still running strong.

So exactly what has your experience been?
As far as the quality, please educate me on your take with Mobil 1's conformance to API's ILSAC Standard GF-5?
Is the issue a general one related to the current SN rating, or specifically with respect to Ford's WSS-M2C945-A requirement...
That's one of those things that you only do 1 time. 20 years ago I did that. To this day I still double check the old filter AND physically feel the mating surface for any old gasket left behind on the block.

Sorry for your pain. If the Oil pressure is normal, that would be a good thing for your engine. Hope they quickly find what's triggering the warning indicator. Lots of electronics in these new vehicles, that's a good thing and a pain in the ass.
