I have 2 screws that hold the tag onto the bracket, and then 2 other things that look like rivets or something. The bracket itself has 2 clips on it that clip into 2 slots on the bumper, but that doesn't keep it stable. Those rivet looking things are the key, and I don't know how they're...
I don't need a front license plate in my state. I just wanted to get a personalized tag or something to put on there if I can figure out how it mounts.
Yes, but there are already mounting holes in the front bumper. I'm just not sure how the hardware secures it to the bumper. The holes aren't threaded or anything.
I hope this is the right place to post this message. My dealer didn't mount my front license plate bracket and I decided to do it myself. I'm not sure how to do it though, and haven't been able to find anything online to help me out. Any suggestions?
Ok, I put a picture up on my original message. It was just a quick pic as I was leaving the restraunt last night. I'll try to get some better ones now that I know how to post them.
I'm pretty new to this forum, but if somebody will tell me how to post pics, I'll take some and put them on here. I tried to figure it out earlier, but I'm too stupid apparently. :laughing1:
I called to check on my Raptor today. It's in Atlanta, only 90 miles away from me, and they're still telling me it will be next Friday before it gets to me.
I called the SVT people this morning to check on my truck. According to them, it has been built and is sitting at the assembly plant, waiting to be shipped. Somebody wanna go pick it up and haul it down here to me?
My raptor was conceived today according to my window sticker's build date. Now I just have to wait for the delivery. I hope there are no crazy mood swings or cravings while I wait.
I just called him back and asked him about the VIN. He said the order was just approved, and will be picked up and put in the system tonight for scheduling, and we should have a VIN number in about 10 working days, and hopefully a firm delivery date as well. They probably are BS'ing me just to...
I just got a call from my dealer saying that my order has been approved and escalated due to the priority 10 status, and they are just waiting for the Raptors to start being built. He said that will hopefully happen this week, and then we're looking at about 8 more weeks once it starts rolling...
Same thing happened to me. I ordered a 12 back in May and found out it got cancelled, so I had to start all over and order a 13 at the beginning of August. Still waiting!!!
Are the hood graphics the same as the side graphics with that splattered paint look? I've seen different pictures, some with the splattered paint look and some with just a black look on top of the truck's paint job.
I ordered mine around the same time, and I was told about the same thing, late Oct or early Nov. My dealer said his Ford rep told him production wasn't even scheduled to start until after Labor Day.
I'm probably just anal, but I'm 36 and I couldn't justify paying $2,000 for some graphics. It's a little too much hotshot for my tastes I guess. Nothing wrong with them though, just not for me.
I agree. I'm an engineer, not married and no kids. I have plenty of money to do whatever I want with, but I showed up to one dealership wearing gym shorts and a t'shirt. The sales guy didn't give me the time of day when I started asking questions. I already knew I was going to another spot...
Good point. I'm definitely happy about the better deal. Just hoping they can push it through production and get it to me asap. I feel like a kid at Christmas with one of those huge presents sitting under the tree and I'm dying to open it.
