Had my wheels off again today. Did an inspection while they were off. Found the exact same cuts in my driver's side tie rod boot. I'm at 35,000 miles now. Anybody have a more permanent fix for this issue? Gonna take it in this time to see if they will fix under warranty. Can't help but wonder...

Ford ESP I have read many complaints about Ford's ESP on the internet. Most say don't buy it. But usually the only people that make comments are the ones that have a bad experience. People that have good experiences don't post much. Anyone have any good examples of how well the ESP works?

You don't have to worry about the unsprung weight that these tires will add to your truck because they will lighten your wallet by much more....Treaddepot.com currently shows the Toyo R/T 35 X 12.5 X 17's @ $999.99 a tire!!!!!

Took the Raptor into the car wash the other day. They pulled the floor mats out. Later I found a plastic round thingy on the floor. The floor mat snaps to the carpet with two plastic snaps that are integral with the rubber mat. It is one of these. They somehow pulled it out of the rubber mat...

It was the steering gear. Fixed by Dealer. $3372. Under warranty.

Just got back from the dealership. They said they are going to replace the steering gear. 17,000 miles on vehicle.

In the photo above, you can see the blue part of the shock that says SVT on it. An inch or so below that is a groove. So that shock is at mid perch. If it were on the top perch you would see two grooves an inch or so apart. Bottom perch--no grooves.

I had the same issue after mid perch adjustment. Tightened the crap out of everything.....gone!

These are the stocks shocks, yes. If you look at the picture of the two bumps side by side, you'll see they have a threaded valve stem on top. The mounting bracket is like a cup, upside down, with a small hole thru it. The threaded stem of the bump goes up thru it from the bottom and a nut...

This first picture shows the two bumps. This next is the 2.5 bump with nothing loaded in the bed. The next is the 4 inch bump thru the wheel well. And the last is the 4 inch with the camper loaded. Truck sits level. 250 psi in the 4 inch bump. Can go much higher.

Wouldn't have been doable without the rpg stage 3 and 4 inch bumps. I ordered the standard duty national leaf springs with the rpg stage 3 kit. It rides extremely well.
