HELP! Rebuilt my shocks, something's not right.

I rebuilt both the front and rear shocks. Everything went together fine and I ops tested the shocks after rebuilding by pressurizing them with 100psi from my compressor to ensure they moved freely and didn't leak. I could compress the shocks and they'd slowly rebound. Then I had the local ATV...

    Add-a-Leaf

Decided to tackle an add-a-leaf this week. I ordered the Pro Comp pn 13137 from summit for $130. I'm looking to raise the back of the truck about an inch or two to match the front mid-perch and help with towing. I don't expect this will be a replacement for new springs from Deaver or National...

    Add-a-leaf

Has anyone installed a Add-A-Leaf. I understand that new leaf springs would be best, but new springs are $1000+ compared to less than $200 for the AAL. I only occasionally off-road and I'm really looking for the 1" increase in ride height to match the front. The AAL looks like it installs...

Lower Control Arm size and torque.

Does anyone know the size of the lower control arm bolt? I also read that the torque spec is 400ft/lb and if you don't get it tight enough it will clunk. I took a shot at doing the mid perch adjustment yesterday, but bailed and put it back together when I realized I couldn't do it without...

    Painted wheels wells.

Painted wheel wells. Picked up the idea to paint the inner wheel wells from another forum member. They were sort of this over-sprayish blue color so I painted them a semi-gloss black. I also cleaned and painted the rear axle at the same time. Should stay rust free.

    Painted Speaker Grills

I thought the silver speaker grills looked out of place so I painted them. I removed the grills by carefully popping them out with a screwdriver then painted them with a satin black spray paint. They match the door perfectly and look much better.

    Magnaflow Muffler install / comparison

Installed a Magnflow muffler (pn 12588) today. The Magnaflow muffler is a straight through design and is slightly smaller than the factory muffler. Suprisingly the factory muffler also seems to be a straight through design. I'm going to cut it open to inspect before we recycle it. The...

Hey new Raptor owner checking in from South Carolina. Waited two years to buy one. Had it less than 24 hours before we took it off road at the beach. Also took it to the mustang week SVT cruise in.
