I have a 2014 Raptor and I have been trying to do the FORscan change for my vehicle but the modules (DDM/PDM) for changing the mirrors to fold won't come up when I connect my Raptor. Initially I thought my problem was due to using an old computer with an old OS but I tried using my brothers new...
Congrats! My brother (Faceoff4) has the same color and I love it! Your MPG will suffer in comparison but the ride, safety and flexibility will blow away the BMW. I have a ML350 and my Raptor blows it away!!! As for the life in miles......only time will tell but I sure hope it beats the BMW :)
That totally sucks. I had a dealer warn me about it and he said to always keep it locked for that very reason. So I have gotten into the habit of keeping it locked. A huge bummer for you even with the insurance coverage!
It definitely sounds like it could be either one of those. I am going to try and hook it up with a different power source to see if that charges it and if not try to flip the wires around. I will keep you posted and I really do appreciate the help here!
I have a 2010 SCAB that doesn't have an integrated Nav. I have a portable Garmin Nuvi (1450) GPS that I really love. It actually works better than any factory GPS that I have ever had and it makes the ones in my Mercedes and Lexus SUV's look totally weak!
I hate having to charge it through...
Sweet looking ride to say the least! Congrats on joining and you will see it becomes an addiction. The members are so active and helpful that its hard to stay away as you learn so much from everyone.
If you ever get to San Diego look Faceoff4 (my twin brother) and I up!
Outlaw Raptor is where we got them. Faceoff4 actually bought them for me so if you need more info on them I would PM Tim.
They are much better than the eBay ones in my opinion so you may want to cut your loss and order these (that's what I did!).
Hope this helps!
Welcome aboard. Definitely post some pics of the ride.
While I now live in sunny San Diego, both Faceoff4 and I spent our formative years in Southern Alabama (Mobile from 7th grade to our first year in college).
Once again welcome aboard.
