    Full Titanium Catback Exhaust System!

to ad... father in law was all about foreign imports. Great cars and fun... but not a Ford Raptor. My financial situation is good. Too many Starbucks raptors and then trophy trucks. Iam in the middle. Practicality and performance.

    Full Titanium Catback Exhaust System!

It is an F-ing V6.... spend the money on not breaking stuff off road. Tie rods and UCAs. Harmonics on a truck are secondarily. Just my opinion... but damn. Yes iam a Chardonnay or 2 into it. Still... iam going outside and gonna rev limit my V8 turn down pipe just to forget jumping on this thread.

mostly agree. Depends on the driver. Trophy truck no... but seriously capable fun toy in the right hands. I did enjoy watching that one guy go full on in an 80’ jump and destroy his truck and kidneys.

    Full Titanium Catback Exhaust System!

I agree on builds. But price has to play in. Unless I am the only guy on the forum that considers price as a consideration? Iam not a metal expert... but what is the benefit of ti? Weight... yes. Rust... yes. Cost is crazy. In my opinion.

then make it and sell it. Power to you brother. I am one of the guys that has spent more than he will ever need on “up grades”. Just crazy to me with cost on a ti exhaust. Worst money spent is on a titanium knife. Dulls out ever other cut. Iam not the Fortune 500 flat brimmed bro that would...

    Full Titanium Catback Exhaust System!

Trailered toy truck to romp on in dunes and at Baja with money to piss... sure... why not. Everyday driver who uses the truck everyday in every situation from ranching to camping and then the grocery store... my opinion is no. Look up the cost of ti per oz. It has its purpose... underwater (no...

    Full Titanium Catback Exhaust System!

ok... now add lights, bumpers, leaf springs, UCAs, misc bs, if your like me... topper, bump stop and etc... weight. I own a gen1. Iam sure I am about to get hammered for this but.... weight reduction is important as well. Gen2 trucks cut weight with aluminum and a v6. Downside... bent beds, a...

    Full Titanium Catback Exhaust System!

With the amount of weight I and others have added to truck w/ bumpers, springs, and a thousand other mods... I see where weight loss is important. But is it a trailer to the desert truck? Or a daily driver and adventure seeking weekend truck? Titanium is super pricey. Actually saw a 3’ diameter...

GEN 1 Random "Trailer Disconnected" Message when towing a specific trailer

I had the same on my old trailer. It was the trailer end that over time had worn a little at the plug. During hard turns or bumps along the road.... it would wiggle loose.

    Best Stop For Raptor Parts?

kind of regret not popping in SVC which is literally a mile away from RPG. Called them first but the dates didn’t match for me. In my opinion... RPG is a good small unique Raptor specific engineer owned company that has more work and business than workers and time. I fell in and was happy. SVC...

    Best Stop For Raptor Parts?

Damn really? I know you have been here awhile as I have. I just started this month truly getting after the suspension with them after years of owning the truck and was happy with there shop. Only gripe was the instructions for self install are outdated and very vague for current products. I...

    Best Stop For Raptor Parts?

The guys at RPG in SOCAL are awesome. Responded to all my emails and shipped out a tie rod pin I stripped out next day for me. I was able to meet the crew and get the stage 3 rear kit at their shop. Saw their SEMA truck and other heavily modded raptors. Gave a military discount as well.

    Stuck Shock Spherical Bearing

Then we are mechanically like minded. I have tried both options with the top hat. Tried hammer and pry bar to align. Started to mar the misalignments. Moved minimally but not able to get it where I need. I noticed that some of the misalignments and bearings differ from one to the next. Machine...

    Stuck Shock Spherical Bearing

I tried jacking up the LCA. Only a couple of inches before the truck is raised and the misalignments bind. Only way I see it is to remove shock, compress the spring, loosing top hat enough to rotate the shock so that it is perfectly aligned. I am literally millimeters from it just sliding in...

    Stuck Shock Spherical Bearing

Your thinking of the misalignment spacers. One goes in each side into the spherical bearing. They do fall out easily. On the driver side I was able to manipulate the bearing and while guiding the shock in... it adjusted to the LCA slot. The passenger side won’t budge. They are aligned perfectly...

    Stuck Shock Spherical Bearing

basically the inner bearing will not shift or move while Iam trying to insert the shock. I could try and move the shock top hat so that the misalignments are oriented correctly. But iam concerned for the bearing.

GEN 2 Baja Designs LP6 wiring questions

My trucks tied up this weekend or I would get you a action shot. They are the driving combo. Completely wash out the rigid 20” I have under them. Looking at lp4s on the hood mounts and replace the rigid with a S8 spot.

GEN 2 Baja Designs LP6 wiring questions

I have two LP6s. Love them. All my upfitters are utilized. I just used the Baja Designs wiring kit and mounted it in the dash. Need to have a 3 mode switch for on/off/on. The Baja wiring kits comes with a line crimp for the backlighting. I tapped both lights to the driver side front side marker...
