Something else has to be wrong with that truck vs the payload. Those sleds are right at ~500lbs each, and the Marlon is about 250lbs. Unless they have a ton of extra weight under their sled deck, it shouldn't be squatting that much.
I have a Gen 1 bumper and skid plate up for grabs. It has rust marks on it from stone chips but could be sand blasted and coated again. It is straight and could be mounted right away if desired. No plastic pieces on it.
Scheduled pickup only. I am frequently in Green Bay, Appleton, or...
Is your OEM bumper the standard grey color or was it painted. Hard to tell in pic.
Also, does it have any stone chips or rust marks starting/showing?
I assume it includes the bumperettes and the silver skid or not?
Thanks
Friends,
I have a 2013 Screw with OEM front / rear camera. I also have the Nav-TV VIM installed for easy access to front / rear camera, etc.
I took a stone directly into the lense of the front camera. I purchased the exact part number from a seller on eBay (yeah, I know). Looks...
I am looking to match my boat trailer wheels to my truck wheels. I have OEM 2013 wheels now, and I actually don't mind them and not planning on changing them. (non-bead locks)
I am wondering if anyone has seen the same style or similar in a 14" wheel I could use for my boat trailer..... Or...
I am debating if I can make it or not. Getting low on vacation from work. 18hr (but easy) drive for me from WI. Too bad it wasn't a long weekend, then it would be an easy decision!
Do you have any pictures of the unit not installed in a truck yet, so we can see the attachment points? Also, what type of drilling/trimming is needed to install.
It looks like what I exactly wanted for my HDS 7 Gen 2 Touch!!!
I have more than 1000 miles this year alone towing this. No gear or fuel in the boat is still 4000 lbs+. As people said in other forums, it's more about stopping and making sure the tail isn't wagging the dog.
Well, I bought it last November on the group rate, but it was too cold to install, so I thought I would install it finally before Sept came around. The install on the drivers door took no more than 10-15 minutes, and the passenger door was probably 20 minutes. I agree the passenger door is...
Too bad this is the wife's birthday weekend, otherwise it would have been fun. I am only 1.5 hr from Wausau and 45min from the Pipeline. Hope to hear good recaps and get some tips for this run!
Has anyone found a good solution for adding another camera to their truck for rear camera visibility for large loads? I haul my Bennington pontoon often (800 miles+ in 8 weeks) and it would be nice to see what's going on with the cover, etc.
I have a 2013 with front and rear camera, Nav-TV...
Huck,
I have some files that I got from another FRF member last year. I used them in Sept 2013 for a single day off roading in SD. PM me if you want to send me your email and I can try to send you them. I am not sure if they are day 1, 2, etc but would be happy to get them to you.
I agree! The questions (combined, emailed and posted) were more clarifications points which would definitely add more buyers.
I am still very much interested, just looked for some clarification points. Hope that didn't cause chaos for you.
I have had a 5.5' bed for 13 years and haul stuff like that all the time. Use the bed extender to even haul more length with comfort. Also the bed extenders allow you to lightly strap down long lumber, etc. if you have 10' boards you can angle from one corner to the other to even give longer...
Welcome. I travel down to Akron every other week for work. There is a Ford dealer in Fairlawn by 77 & 18 that seems to always have 1-2 Raptors on the lot. Also a Rousch dealer it looks. I haven't stopped but might be a good place to start.
Noah,
Do you know if we did the 12volt power to activate the rear or VIM, is there a way to disable the double tap rear defrost activation sequence entirely? I imagine that is what causes the rear camera to be on when using remote start and the odd behavior that happens for us northern climate...
