Nothing else deleted and I didn't get any sort of credit for the lack of appliqué. But admittedly it's more my fault than the dealership. I was antsy to get a Raptor so when I finally found one halfway across the US that wasn't marked up like crazy I jumped all over. Totally missed the Appliqué...
I don't believe it would be easy to remove. I think the factory puts a lot of holes into the tailgate to secure the appliqué. At least that's the impression I get looking at one not installed. I'm no expert though so maybe someone with experience will chime in.
Long-shot but looking for a Gen 3 tailgate appliqué. Unfortunately my truck had it deleted coming from the factory and feel like the back looks naked without it.
Please let me know if you have one to part with! Thanks
Finally made my decision. Did not end up going the powder coating route but bought a set of '23 take offs (the 35" tires with beadlock wheels) from another member here on FRF who's also in Vegas. Made for an easy exchange and my eyes are much happier with the new wheels ;)
Nothing to see here fellas ;)... these are on are on my truck now!
Thanks to @hyrepower for getting me hooked up with these. 10x better than the stock ones I had.
Those turned out mighty pretty. This is making me lean towards the powder coating route. I also found a guy this AM with the same wheels as mine already powder coated in a black satin. Look pretty sharp and basically he can swap mine for his for 500 bucks. Good deal. Probably should ask which...
There's a guy fairly close to me asking $3k for 37" tires and wheels he just took off his 2023. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's a decent price, right?
I really like the 37s as well. That would be a good option if I can find a set to buy to make the switch then just have to deal with the hassle of selling the current wheels/tires.
Thanks fellas. I was expecting something along the lines..."well you could powder coat...BUT....(insert a downfall)"
Sounds like it's a totally fine route to take.
I recently received my Gen 3 (35") Raptor. It has the standard, chrome/silver colored wheels. I do like the shape/design of them but I just don't love the color; I would much prefer black. My question would be, I know I could just buy new wheels but is there any reason to not just get the...
I'm in Vegas and looked everywhere in the SW (20-30k mark-ups are the norm and nothing less). Even used at the dealership are over 100k. I ended finding mine in the Midwest (Wisconsin). Had to really dig and make a lot of phone calls but it pays off.
It took me some considerable searching to find one close to msrp. Best I could find was 5 over but negotiated down to 1.5k over. Needless to say I was happy as a clam.
Just ordered a BuiltRight. Being USA made, inexpensive, don't care about performance since I never listen to the radio, seemed like a no-brainer purchase.
Hello from the desert of NV
A Ford Raptor has been on my wish list for a long time. When I found a 2022 not marked-up like crazy it was an easy trigger to pull. Super stoked to say the least. My other Ford is a '18 XLT that's AZ pin striped from front to back. Not sure I'm going to be...
