I will take a few pics of the JL stealthbox I used but here is some stock footage to show it in the F150. Depending on how you use your truck losing the storage under the back seat may not work for you. The box itself is on a quick connect and a few bolts and can be removed in 5 minutes...

Самым, спасибо. Я удалил заводской усилитель и использую JL audio VXI 800 с DSP. Он заменяет заводской усилитель. Не стесняйтесь задавать больше вопросов.

upgraded the B&O not so unleashed.

Looks good. I agree factory system is pretty terrible. I did a similar set up and made a thread. Nice work.

I believe I’ve seen a few folks do aftermarket gear and use factory speaker wires. I have my JL VXI 800 bridged and am running 4 channels at 4x200 watts. I came up the center panel and through the grommet and the rubber hose between frame and door. From there I just ran under the door sill.

Where exactly are all of the 18 speakers in the B&O unleased system located in the Gen3?

Passive / active. I am using passive crossovers but preactively filtering. I am sure some of the high-end shops may forgo the passive crossovers and deal directly with the AMP/DSP. I felt more comfortable using the crossovers supplied with the FOCAL K2's and using the dip switches then was also...

Whats an easy sound system upgrade?

I started out much like you. There really aren't any shortcuts with the factory B&O system. The sound deadening and foam rings, block off plates are a good start and helps make the doors 'dead". As others mentioned to do it right you need the Zen box which is $800 right off the top. The...

Wraith typically I'd do the same. There are a couple of reasons. Although there is a factory ground behind the seat the trucks are aluminum panel bonded bodies and even sanding the factory ground and going straight to the body on these isn't the best option. The biggest reason I made a straight...

Nice. You have quite the system! I’d be deaf after hearing that video you posted! The 5k is a reference to miles thus far.

Hi Wraith. I am also running the 800VXI. The simple answer is some of the decisions are overdone. I could have used factory speaker wiring, 4 gauge, and skipped the cap. I wanted to ensure it was overdone. Some of the decisions like running 1/0 along the frame rail, ground to the battery and...

Here are the list prices for the components I used. There was another couple of hundred bucks in miscellaneous parts. I started out thinking I would try to put something together for $3,500 or so and then wandered off to Focal Utopia 165W-XP's and Mosconis and Audison amps... I reeled it In and...

First off thank you to the other folks that have posted their own projects and the vendors such as Sounds Good Stereo, Soundsskins, and Nav TV. I watched countless videos and set a budget(which doubled) and then began ordering my equipment. My first suggestion is to spend the money on the...
