I have a '22 Raptor and the dealer had 2 hard folding tonneaus - one stuck up a few inches, and one was flush-mounted. I got the flush mounted one. I need new tie-down straps for it. Any idea who makes the cover? Looks like it could be a Bak-flip or an Undercover?
I have a '22 raptor and now a '23 R. The fuel consumption difference is very noticeable. Thank goodness for the 36 gallon fuel tank. That was one of the reasons the TRX was not going to get a place in my garage. The way fuel prices are today, and the fact that the R needs premium, count on...
I have been bumped since Jan. Many times. This time, it has held, and I should be in production today, according to the FP person I chatted with yesterday.
Ordered on 7/18/22, confirmed shortly after. Initial schedule date was January, and it's been moved many times. My most recent update was scheduled week of June 7th. Just checked, and it's in production. Looks like things are moving.
my build has been moved 4-5 times but so far is holding at week of 5/18. I see that others on here were in the same boat and have now moved to June, so I contacted FP today to see if there was a change from online status. They said no, it's still holding at that date. I'm fine waiting until...
Mine did the same thing yesterday. Was scheduled for 4/21, and went to unscheduled. This is maybe the fourth time I've been rescheduled. There is a new date, but you won't see it online for another week. The dealer or ford performance can tell you the new date before then, but not sure it...
They did not, but to be fair I didn’t directly ask. I did mention that I was aware of the leaks and so I can understand the delay. He just didn’t confirm or deny that as the reason.
I was scheduled for production on 3/24/23, and as of today, was back to just confirmed status. Chatted with Ford Performance, and I have been moved to 4/10/23. This is the third move. I'm ok with waiting until the issues with the front seal are in the rear view. Just getting less confident...
I don’t fault dealerships for taking advantage of the opportunity. I don’t think anyone is doing anything wrong. It’s the way markets work. Prices will always be set where consumers are willing to pay. As long as there are buyers like you out there, dealers will charge more, because they...
I get it, believe me. The current market is making it unlikely you will get one for 20k over. So you have to decide whether to pay more for that time or not. If you get an order in with a good dealership for next year, you can minimize the ADM, at the cost of time.
I’ve played that ADM avoidance game a lot. Porsche was the worst with it. I only paid ADMs twice - once with a 991.1 GT3RS, and once with the Gen2 raptor (Less than 5k). You just have to decide whether paying the ADM is an acceptable exchange for additional time with the vehicle in your...
Can your dealer provide a VIN and order number? If so, you can just track it yourself. I stopped getting updates in December as well, but my R is now scheduled for 3/24, after first being scheduled for mid-February and then moved back to just confirmed. Hopefully this one sticks...
I had a 7/18 order date and was scheduled for mid Feb build, then Ford backed that off, and I went back to just ordered. As of today showing scheduled again, this time mid March. We’ll see if it gets moved again.
Mine shows up in the ford system when I track the build online. VIN is valid. Ford is just behind on sending those email updates. And their online system for owners is behind the one that Ford dealers have. Basically, it seems the dealers are the ones with the most up to date information is...
