OP's question was for open & close. You do not have that option which means you are not able to answer "his" question. All the different scenario replies would be great for another thread or question but I feel have only muddied the water for him??? just an opinion
Wow, this thread should have been over with one reply post - You can "Lock and unlock" the tailgate from the keypad BUT you CANNOT "open and close" the tailgate with the keypad
Hey folks, just a small public service announcement. If you get an accident and have any film on your windshield below, the AS1 line, you run the risk of getting hung out to dry. It’s illegal in all 50 states and ambulance chasers love to look for a little loopholes like that. Can’t blame them.
Not really aftermarket but not stock either. Looked for a long time for some aftermarket forged wheels. Found a couple that I liked but nothing really that I loved. Before spending that kind of money I decided to throw 1000 bucks at the factory forged wheels. Really happy with how this turned...
I don't have the interior chime when exiting the truck with the key. I also have the double honk disabled. Not sure but I also have Police Mode on which prevents the shift lever from operating unless the key is in the truck. That may be why mine does not beep! Love that setting even more now if...
Wow, picked up F150 FX4 as a rental while I have my wheels in the shop. Brought me back to reality in just how smooth the Raptor is. Night and Day difference to say the least
Unfortunately no. Assuming you have all the trim, around the area removed. Ie if you just want to pop the rear of the liner down, I would remove B and C pillar trim. Then get a little pry tool and start about 6" from the corner of the sunroom opening corner in the side. Once one of the magnets...
Headliner is 80% held up by magnets, and actually quite genius. along the back glass edge there are to pop in fasteners. If you have a long pry bar you can slide it between the roof and the headliner and help pop those two down. Also, once you get one of the magnets to pop free, put a shim or...

Just throwing this out but we ran the raptors as hard as most during the Raptor Assult in UT. Mountainous terrain for sure and high speed. All trucks were at 32 front and 28 rear. That's with two full-size spare tires in the back of each. Just FYI. Not sure more is needed unless you're trying to...
You still own the truck until you cash their check. If you're going to remove some stuff, just do it now while it's still yours. Right now her insurance is still worried your neck might start hurting... Just sayin
Largest 2nd row in the Raptor (or any supercrew F150) of any vehicle I've been in. Way bigger than any SUV. Gen 3 ride is great,,,,, cannot speak to Gen 1 or 2
Might be steering wheel bolt. When I remove mine to install heated feature, I was not impressed by how much wiggle room in the wheel to steering column play there was (it is not splined). Once the bolt was tightened, it was better but if that bolt slipped even a little, there would be play in...
Small personal update for everyone since I have/had the issue covered in this thread. I have the Mongoose cable so just for fun and to spend $50 bucks (2 day cost for FDRS software license), I occassionally plug in my truck and see if there are any updates. We'll, after applying the available...
