Lockers are hella helpful in the PNW for deep snow and especially for muddy rutted roads. I've never worked on a modern differential. Is it do-able and financially reasonable to make a 2024 Raptor front diff into a lockable differential?
Rigid lights suck, and the waste was Ford putting them in your truck. They give you the illusion of having lights to help drive, without actually being bright enough to do any good, as you now know if you installed Baja Desigas in their place. Save them so you can pull your Bajas out when you...
I just bought a 2013 Raptor with the 6.2 V-8 and am making arrangements to have a dealer installed super charger put in it... I love my 37pp and Braptor, but have been unable to find an R allocation for under about $140k, so this is the route I'm going to try. The 2013 isn't the driver the new...
I don't understand paying $90k for a Raptor if you aren't going to punish it? I believe the Gen 3 Raptor is the best off-road pickup to ever come off an assembly line. Lariats are great trucks, but they're suspension is no comparison to a Raptor.
********! When I bought my 22 Raptor my wife was driving a nice 22 Lariat F150. I'll give you the parking being easier, but the rest of your comparison,"it feels just as fast" and"much more nimble on the pavement"? I call ******** on that. Once my wife started driving my Raptor, she didn't want...
I just cancelled my Raptor R that was $10,000 under MSRP!
Nah, just bullshitting. I gave up on the R a long time ago. I would love to have one, but can't justify the cost for what you get. I'd probably buy one at MSRP, but that's not going to be an option. Probably at least $50k+ over what...
My 2022s both have ambient lighting, tailgate appliqué, heated wheel, mirrors, Blue Recaros. My loaded AMB 37pp is becoming a limited edition full option Raptor. ;-)
Edit. The 35" has black Recaros.
First off, they would not include the brake lights in this program, so I have to pull a fuse to turn those off. I have to turn off both the headlight switch, and the gauge dim switch, to turn off everything including door opening lights. Simply turn the dimmer up one click and all the internal...
Not in Western WA. you can't. I live off the grid and we don't get enough sun to keep our house supplied. The back-up generator supplies most of our power to charge the house batteries.
So I own both and just went out and looked. There appears to be enough room in the rear at the hitch, but the sway bar on the 35 does not have enough clearance. if you put a 37" tire under my 2022 35", it would definitely be against the sway bar.
I own both. I am speaking from experience, or seat of the pants, not out my ass like you. The loss of 1" of suspension is to keep the larger tires from jaming into the top of the wheel well. What is the mystery to you about that? If you think larger tires don't help off-road, then explain why...
Ha Ha! You've never had one have you? I have a 2022 35" and a 2022 37"pp, and they are definitely different. The 37pp stock, is better off road than the 35" stock. Much softer feeling in the rough stuff, and a bigger foot print aired down. The only places the 35" are better is slightly better...
I like mine. Yeah the opening is smaller, but it's big enough. It's nice having a secure area. Also, there's a couple inches between the top of the safe and the armrest lid, with lots of room for a pistol or what ever.
