I called Ford HQ and got some traction. The rep was extremely helpful. She found out the part was no longer back ordered and worked with my dealer for the order. My truck is in the shop as I type getting new shock installed. Fingers crossed it fixes the issue.
Thanks. Given weather is cooling off some and I won’t be using ac for much longer this year, I may hold off and see if any new info/TSB come out over the winter. Would hate to have my dash ripped out for nothing. Unfortunately I still have to keep dealer appointment to get bad shock replaced . SMH
i have an appointment with dealer in two weeks and I was going to have them repair based on tsb. Sucks to hear that’s not the fix. I thought the TSB included replacing the temp sensor and a lot of people reported back saying the TSB resolved their issue? i took my truck in last summer and had...
That has been my experience as well. The silicone only works for a day or so. I have an appointment with dealer in couple weeks. Looks like some on thread have had issues with part shortages. Hopefully that’s been resolved.
I had already ordered Blaster silicone spray via Amazon and just applied to the same spot shown in post #55. The squeak went away immediately. We’ll see if it lasts.
Dog piling on…2022 37 PP 8k miles..same squeak front passenger side. Has anyone permanent success with lubing It up or is new shock usually the ultimate solution? I have a service appointment next week for AC issue and two other recalls so I’ll add this to the list.
Actually, I did see a random “low power mode” message on dash when I started this morning. So may be onto something. If it is a battery issue then the next question is why are our batteries dying within months of owning truck !?
Add another to the list. Happened to me for first time last night. 2022 with 5k miles. Turning the truck off did not kill it. Walked away with keys and could still hear the noise in cab. Drove home and disconnected battery which stopped the noise. i Just received the newest OTA update last week...
2022 Raptor less than 1000 miles and I’m having this exact issue. most of those miles have been fairly short trips. The two times I’ve driven the truck for longer duration, the issue has surfaced.
I ordered in October ‘21, built 6/9 and has been awaiting shipment since. I halfway joked with wife that mine was probably one of the ones stolen from Dearborn lot a few weeks back. Would be my luck..
I’m beginning to worry that my build was one of these. Timeline is dead on. I got the emial that it was built on 6/11 and they were preparing shipping. Still no word/update on shipping. That would be about par for my luck..
