Move to state with lower gas prices and don't vote for fossil energy haters anymore. As for the grade of gasoline, I love them all and my Raptor thinks they are very tasty.
I'd go for a reg cab or SCAB instead of the not-as-nimble bus length stuff......looked at ranger raptor, crew cab only?, but about 35k less than bronco raptor?
reg cab or scab with V8 sounds good to me........maybe ford will need to find something for the lightning plant to do?
Looks like tire shine from hood down.
To get authentic used look, park somewhere between W6th and Colfax (Denver) for a few nights, locked or unlocked, doesnot matter.......
On 2012 supercab (about 208000 miles) average after a few tankfuls of mixed town and hwy is about 14.5 running 87.
This has been consistent for several years (am original owner).
Scab has served me very well. Each time I drive a newer crewcab it feels less nimble due to longer wheelbase and turn radius. If raptor was available in regular cab and shortbed, I'd probably have one. Too bad SCAB is not an option now.
Just my opinion, but if I wanted more space in cab for...
-TRX still has a sheep on it.....arrgghh
-neither R or TRX offered in shorter than crew cab, sadly
-TRX and R both have V-8s.....good reason to dance with either one IMO
presume savings are in weight, if same thickness of steel was used instead.
Do you think same thickness of aluminum would provide same dent resistance? If so, what is the aluminium alloy/temper that is used for the current ford body panels?
Disregard, have since read a description of alloys...
I jumped into this thinking he was about to get a chevy (avalanche) thank heaven he's not.
Just got back early Sat morning after spending a week in a sliverato 4x?? in MN.
It was a rental-ugh.
Damn it felt SO GOOD to get back in my GEN 1 SCAB and drive it home Saturday.
My opinion on the chevy...
