I've read the manual and search this forum, but can't find the answer.... Is it possible to change the volume of the pre-collision alerts? I have mine set to "alert only", and the alert is so quiet I barely notice it on a good day. With the windows down, there's no way I'd ever hear it...

Ouch. But I expect that to be honest. I know 1 dealership in my area for sure wouldn't.... I think the other will. I did talk to the dealer I bought the truck from (4 hours away) and they said they could do it. It seems to be if the dealership values your business or not! ;)

I called Ford Customer Service a few days ago to learn more. Effectively they couldn't tell me who is getting the retrofit, or why. What the representative did share, is that if we pay to have the dealer retrofit done and Fford later ads our VIN to the approved list, they would reimburse me...

I'm leaning that direction. The MPG hit from 10% ethanol will cost me more than the 15 cent savings. Plus I personally don't like ethanol due to the moisture issue you stated. So then it comes down to a performance difference between the two....?

So I am a new Costco member, and that brought up a fuel question I wanted to run past the group! One one side of the street is Kwik Trip with 91 Octane - 0% Ethanol. On the other side of the street is Costco with 93 Octane - 10% ethanol. Costco is typcially about 15 cents cheaper per gallon...

What offset did you select? +0 or +18? Can you share a picture showing if the tires exceed the fender width (along the side from front to back)? Thanks!

Intersting! Thanks for sharing. The only thread I found before pointed to a 12v relay mod that didn't sound like the best idea. I guess I'm just surprised that FORScan can't do it since I hear the e-locker can be enabeled on other F-150 trucks in 2wd. But maybe it-is-what-it-is....

I could only find one thread about this in the Gen 2 section, but no answer... Can FORScan enable the e-locker in 2WD?

Is your comment about the 37" trucks, or will a 35"? Sorry, I got confused. I have a 35" truck and am looking at the Fuel Rebel 6 17x9 0-offset. From what I see, that's about a 1.9" change from stock, and I'm trying to avoid any issues when running the truck hard.

It's hard to explain, and I don't have a good picture right now. When you install the liners they fit between the bed metal and the OEM fender flare. This pulls the flare away down towards the tire a little. Tightening the flare screws help pull it back up and away from the tire, but not...

The picture my dad took of the gauges, shows 28 degrees. Another driver that day reported 32 degrees. So on average, I'd say about 30! And yes, it was wicked! Without an instructor standing there (and on the low-side of the truck too!!!) I would have never, EVER, attempted that!

Was yours full screen? I bought the CarLinKit Android 12 (newest model) and i can only see ~2/3 of the screen....
