The gate guards on base named my truck BAT for Bad Ass Truck, my friends all call her Bertha cause she's big and scary, but sexy in a way that just can't be described.
I've had my 5.4 Raptor for 4 years now. Over that time I've upgraded a decent amount little by little (AFE Stage 2 CAI, Ford Racing Hot Rod Cams & Heads, Precision Industries Torque Converter, and Stainless Works Long flow catted X pipe w/ true dual exhaust).. I've had multiple can tunes for...
More of the same from me. Snap on or Craftsman. I've always been able to just walk into a Sears and replace broken or damaged tools. Including things that my grandfather bought and passed down to dad then me, gotta love being able to hand over a 40 year old tool and get a free replacement.
Thank you for this information. This is the kind of breakdown and information I've been looking for while considering what I want to replace my factory shocks with. I've got almost 70K miles on them and know I'll have to change them out within the year.
Here are a few close up pictures of how it looks on the truck. The first 2 show the way I modified the cradle so it would work. The next to show that it is still a close fit. It doesn't rub the front of the truck but it's close.
I have a 30" Rigid light bar on my Ford Racing bar. I used the "U" Cradle it came with. But had to modify the cradle so the light would fit w/out rubbing against the front of the truck. Basically I had to drill new mounting holes halfway between the existing holes and the back of the cradle...
I had a 2007 Ranger before my Raptor, it was almost the same size as a normal F150. Engine size, bed size, cab size, towing capabilities, they were all on par with the F150. The only difference was the price. It only looked small when parked next to the Raptor. I don't have a copy of a...
I had the rear marker lamps tinted at the same time I have my tail lights and cargo light done. Never had any problems because they still shine brightly. That would be the only situation where it could become a problem I would guess...
The light output is insanely different. The fog lights are bright enough I could drive every day with them alone and have people yell at me. I always thought of the kc's as a supplement to my headlights. With the 30" on I can't even see the beams from my headlights.
ford racing bar.
Thought I'd throw these up. I have the Ford Racing bar on my truck as well. I used to have the 6" KC lights, but just swapped them out for a Rigid 30" LED light bar (along with adding Dually fog lights). these are the before and after shots.
I've just gone with the factory rims powder coated black. Still have the OEM tires as well. Will probably change that on the next tire change though. Both of these pictures were taken right after I had it done. Almost 2 years ago.
