We spent a four day weekend in Colorado over Memorial Day. So many different types of terrain so close together. Day one Penrose Park and Canon City, Day two up Cheyenne Mountain.
I wouldn't do a leveling kit. If you want to level it out, they aren't known for durability.
I'd recommend drop shackles in the rear. There are also adjustable perch collar rings for the front shocks of the Gen 2, but they seem questionable to me. You can adjust the perch on the Gen 1 stocks...
Indeed going faster will help, but you can also lower the psi in your tires. They recommend like 40-44, but you can run as low as 30-35 on road for comfort, but it'll cost your some tire wear as trade-off.
You might also look at your shocks. If they're over 50-75k miles you're probably ready...
It depends where you mount them. Dash video always looks slower than it felt for some reason, but videos closer to the ground seem to do better. A suction cup to the head light works pretty well, but it was so cold and icy I didn't think outside video would work for this trip. Also, being point...
I'm a little late to this game, but two of us are coming up I-35 from Kansas City (SpooK, I believe you are the other guy, but I just realized I don't know your FRF name). We will be leaving from the Legends Shopping Center at 6am(ish) on Friday. This will put us in Des Moines around 930-10am...
Dang... missed the boat on this one. I know I could make a good video.
Also, what's this 'honorable mention' junk? Nicole's video was the best for sure, though maybe a bit long... I definitely know how hard it is to cut hours of footage into anything under 5 minutes though.
Me and WSI got our truck's pictures taken last month because someone apparently didn't look close enough at all the scratches and dents, and thought they deserved to be in the local art show....
I'm going to go ahead and throw this out there against my better judgement...
All of the stupidest things I have ever heard anyone say about a Raptor are from Raptor owners on this forum. (all examples paraphrased from shotty memory)
"My springs are squeaking, is this a warranty issue?"
"My...
Floor jacks are the best as far as safety goes, but they aren't always practical offroad.
Highlifts are a "jack of all trades," but are a little more dangerous and you have to take a look at your lift points as well. They are nice because you can lift with them or pull if necessary.

In case you didn't know, ADD, WSI and most other tube bumper manufacturers will make it whatever color you want. Gray color match, gloss black, flat black, hammer finish.... even race red.

Stock rears shouldn't be much of an issue with 37s. It's the front end where you get in trouble. I don't think I've ever even seen another Raptor besides WSI's with fiberglass rear fenders.
It'll be more like 2" once you pound on them a little. They'll settle, but they won't reverse like the stockers. SDHQ sells a leveling shackle as well.
I'm kind of biased towards WSI I supposed, but BroTank1 is looking pretty dang good.
I like WSI's products because they are simply designed to do what they are supposed to do first and to look good second, not the other way around. And, they accomplish both those goals quite well IMO.
I want...
I will not be smoking anything...
On a related note, I'm bringing a grill and WSI has graciously agreed to bring burgers for dinner Saturday night. All other food/snacks/beverages are BYO.
The easiest way to run 37s on a Raptor (correctly) would be to go to mid perch (maybe top... but that's risky especially on 2012-2013) and get some Boatec fenders. Just the front fenders will work, but they also sell rears if you really want to go for it.
