:peace:Drove out to their shop & they installed it for me today!!!! They also fixed my alignment & rotated my tires. I can't tell you how nice everybody was, The service was top notch & I can't wait to go back & get the rear bumper done!!!!!! I will post some photos later.:happy160:

I live in the city and the reception goes in & out. It's really not that horrible but it still bothered me enough to do an experiment with my stock antenna. Look at the thread in the audio video section I started.

Ok results are in !!!!! After cutting down the stock antenna down to about 5 inches the constant acquiring problem is solved!!!! I started cutting 3 inches at a time until my inpatients kicked in. Then it was 6 inches at a time for a few wacks then back to 3 inches as I got it really short...

I heard you can take a stock antenna and cut it down & it will work just as good. How much you can cut it down I don't really know. As soon as I find my stock antenna I will do a test and clip it down a little at a time. I will post the results later.

Looks like the cord is just hanging down when the hood is open. Was it secured better & how much does the grill block the light out? Looks good though.
