What if Ford offered a “Factory delivery” option like GM does with Corvettes. I would definitely take advantage of a program like that. Fly out to pick it up and drive it home cutting a couple weeks off the waiting game. No harm in dreaming, meanwhile waiting for train availability to haul...

Ordered 10/17/21. Code Orange 37PP 801A all options including bed liner tonneau cover. Built 5/8/22. Still awaiting shipping.

Yeah, seems that’s business usual with this market. My dealer did the same with an increased ADM. That being said. The dealer down the road had a similar build to mine (black seats vs recaro) with 25k ADM and it didn’t last a week. So someone is printing hundies……

Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger. Ordered mine 10/17 and didn’t get a build start date until 2 days ago. No email notifications ever, just found out by calling FP. So I’m happy, but the process is not consistent from dealer to dealer. (Thinking dealer is weak link?)
