Yea so stock rear end it’ll have a pronounced squat I’m on top perch and you literally can’t tell Although it’s like 1/4 inch squatted but mid perch w/ the geiser sounds like a lotta squat
So I got geisers for Gen 1 and worried about the angles of UCA and rc axle with geiser on mid perch. The website describes the geisers for mid perch. I was wondering if geiser would ride fine on bottom perch so I worry less about the angles. Also what’s the increase in ride height over stock...
I got 2012 with navigation system, 700W sub in back
Stock Sony A pillar tweeters, dashboard speaker, doors, stock sub
What’s the wattage and location of the stock amp?
Okay so I pulled the other 3 codes that disappear shortly after attempting to flash. P0600, p060a, and uo300. U0422 stays but those 3 codes will appear right after flashing then go away. Note no CEL whilst truck it running
This is just for reprogramming the module correct? I believe they’ve done that before while I had the tune on dunno whether that messed some stuff up a little or not lol
It’s not on the tune anymore it won’t read the stock tune properly so can’t even, on top that had 4 CEL relating to ecu while on stock tune. I think the overrevving has to do with the long tube headers losing low end torque but I wouldn’t be sure yet.
How much would this cost, plus I’m not trying to have the truck sit inside the dealership for a week or two just for an examination. Although im almost certain the trucks ecu was fried, are there key symptoms of a fried ecu? I’m on stock tune right now
The truck also runs just fine, idles great and even under WOT it still pulls just as hard as it would. On the dash the engine light is not illuminated. The only difference I’ve noticed is under normal acceleration the truck doesn’t pull as hard and the rpm’s are not at higher than usual to...
Yes I have a 2012, the only code it’s throwing at me right now is UO422, but when I try to tune the truck then, which it fails to tune because it can’t read stock data (save stock tune), the truck throws 4 codes all relating to the PCM
The ecu got fried from a voltage spike during tuning the truck, so based off what y’all are saying there’s no way I could buy my own pcm off a vendor and have a ecu programmer come out and do the programming for me it has to go through the stealership?
So I fried my pcm lol I just need to know where to buy a new one, part #, and whether they come programmed or not. If they are programmed would it just be plug and play? Feel like there’s a catch, thanks!
Update: the truck appears to have a cooling issue, rather heating issue as in extreme cold temps; such as 30 degrees or lower the truck cannot sufficiently bring the coolant temp above 160F. This cannot still be a thermostat can it?
In cold temps, truck takes a very very long time to warm up, once warmed up the top coolant temp is 158-168 F. The truck will stay there no matter the run time and hasn’t gone up. Code PO128 was registered need help.
Here in Texas just had a flash freeze at 20 degrees and wind chills of -15 degrees, insane for Texas. But anyways was driving home on the highway and the winds were hitting the front end super hard about 3 miles in the truck threw code po128 I hope this will pass bc I refuse to deal with yet...
