Updates: Truck is now 8 years young and lots of work has recently been done. We went through the truck and did all the fluids, rebuilt both front shocks (4th time including upgrades), new steering rack, new KO3 tires (3rd set), new upper and lower control arm bushings, we had an issue with the...

2013 Raptor .. hill descent and advanctrac fault also wrench light

Don't forget to also check the fuse box in the engine bay. Pull suspected fuses and look for signs of arcing. Several folks have had issue with the fuse that supplies power to the Fuel pump relay. That one gave me and the dealer fits before we finally found the problem.

37 bfg ko2 on low perch

Yes, it is me. It required cutting off exhaust before the axle, new rear bumper and hitch to curve around girth of tire, cutting and plating of frame around shackles. Its a snug fit! RaceCo did the work with input from Corey and Jarrett. Its great, allows me to keep all my gear locked up...

Thank you. Yes I still own truck, still my DD. Still own my 2010 AMG E63 too, don't see making any changes to the Fleet anytime soon. Wife drives a 2006 Suburban LTZ that we will likely have for another 10 years. Buy great stuff and take care of it and it will take care of you. Updates...

New Meats Pulled the trigger on 4 new KO2's. After researching, the new KO2s have more meat on the outside, and better tread life in the rocks. Will be better for me when I take to the mountains this winter. BFG is blowing life right now on their production for the KM2s and for run flats for...

BFG 37" KM2's Out of Stock - No date avail So after patiently waiting over 6 months to replace my worn out KM2's BFG informs that they have no production plans. So what to do? I have one brand new spare and one of the 4 running now has decent amount of tread. Will likely move both of these...

Stupid Things People Say About Raptors

So, Do you ever take it off road? Agreed this thread is way off track, so in an effort to realign, here is the most common dumbshit statement I seem to get asked in one form or another all the time. "That truck is awsome! Do you ever take it off road?" Worn knobby tires missing chunks...

    bakflip-F1-VP??

Yes, you will have problems if you do not do several things. All have been detailed in my build thread, if you have the patience to go through, lol. in a nut shell: locktite the 6 bolts/clamps and torque until the aluminum clamp bends. I used a long bar clamp to avoid the torque pulling...

    New 2017 Raptor, New Section.

misunderstood me, I was referring to AC vents in the back of the center console pointing to rear, never noticed em in mine before, they are there, my kids likely appreciate them. My question was on the cooled seat option for the front.

    New 2017 Raptor, New Section.

I noticed what appears to be a dead pedal at the 5:59 point on the new video"everything you want to know..." thats cool I love my "wicked" dead pedal that you can't get anymore. I also noticed led lights on the inside of the bed tucked into the corners behind the taillights. I also saw rear...

    BedRug Giveaway for FRF!

Welcome to the FRF. I love my bedrug, but it is now over 2 years old and has taken some damage from racing jack getting loose and rubbed a hole in tailgate. Here is an idea for a product for those who have or consider getting a cover, is an active fan system to create positive pressure...

    New 2017 Raptor, New Section.

Lots more to like than not. The weight savings up front should prove a huge improvement over whoops and jumps. Curious if 37" tires will clear the stock fenders. How crappy will the new stock bumpers be and how retrofits to aftermarket and the new lower side moldings will look. It will be...

DSC Reservoir for Fox 3.0 and HD Deavers So after some 23K Miles, it was time for some maintenance to the suspension and a few upgrades. First up was an upgrade to the Fox 3.0s with an adjustable "DSC" reservoir. It has both a High Speed and Low Speed compression adjustments by turning knobs...

Improved Door Detent I received the kit from Northlight labs via 2 day Priority Mail as promised. Enjoyed reading the instructions, were crafted with a satirical sense of humor. I apologize for the following crappy pictures, my phone's photo settings got jacked... Anyway here is what came...

Improved Door Detent On its way Current door detent position is either too close to get out or to far out where I may ding the car next to me. Northlight Labs figured out there was room on the OEM part to mill another detent position in the middle. Think Goldilocks - "Just Right". I...

Thanks Dan, RE is leading a group during Thanksgiving Weekend. The route belongs to Matt Richards - SVTBlue Please ask him, with his permission I will send or he can. A lot of work goes into pre-running and documenting and is not mine to give away, hope you understand.

I guess it is OK to clean up once in a while, but your rig is simply too sick to be that clean for long. I can only assume you will be driving her back via the dirt?

You have a good point. One guy got a flat and then his stock wheel cracked in half - down the center - like a split rim. The inside half wrapped itself around the axle and had to be cut off with a sawzall. Keep in mind that I am running 37" tires with stock fenders. If I went to method or...

Shameless Plug I have been on a lot of organized trips over the last 3 years, well over 20 and without a doubt the Baja expedition from Outlaw Expeditions was by far the best run and most fun of them all. We got to see the worst of Mexico, albeit briefly, and enjoyed the best of what Mexico...

Baja Tested Truck performed well, we rode hard and fast with no mechanical issues except for a torn CV boot and a few dings on skid plates. Compared to the carnage I witnessed on other trucks, very pleased with how she ran. I continue to have some electrical issues, intermittently it will...
