I like my new Toyo Open County AT3 C-rated...coming from BFG KO2 C-rated the Toyo is quieter and rides the same. Haven't tested them off road yet unfortunately but they're good in rain.
Hello everyone,
I have a 2019 with 65k miles. Last 5k miles I've had a loud/long rattle on start-up. No performance issues/stuttering/etc. Sometimes a prolonged cranking and twice the truck didn't even unlock, but weirdly unlocked after manually unlocking (possible battery is going dead or...
Thanks for the reply!
I wonder if I can mount my XL80s like this. I took them off the A-pillar mounts recently and like the corner visibility and haven’t put them back on. Also not a fan of the glare on the hood from the a-pillar.
Love it, just about to do something similar.
Do you think I can plug into the existing USB port for the wireless charger and that would be enough power or should I go the route you mentioned?
Definitely seems to be more steps then a simple grill swap...I'd love to do this but cost definitely seems to keep going up. Saving up for an intercooler first...too many wants on the mod list
I've been thinking about it for a while now, but as of now don't want to purchaew new headlights just as an experiment. However, my dad has the '18 KR and I should be seeing him next month and I'll give it a try then.
If then I know it fits...I'll take the leap and cross my fingers they work...
That actually makes sense. My dad has the '18 King Ranch and noticed that.
I would assume then a F150 grill from '15-17 will fit our Raptors without a problem?
Edit... I don't think that'll work actually after looking at pics. Anyone know of aftermarket grill options for the raptor? All my...
I know a lot of people put the raptor front grill on regular F150 vehicles. I've tried searching but can't find anyone that's doke the other way around. Specifically the XLT Sport grill is my favorite especially color matched. Was hoping there would be a way I can get one for the Raptor but...
Pulled it out, looks like a radar detector cable. It's got a fuse tap wire on the other side but wasn't connected.
Do people run radar detectors facing the back?
Yeah, looks like the power cable for my radar detector but not sure why it's on the rear window.
I'll chase it down when I go to install the gj motorsports rear brake light. Maybe it was for a rear facing dash cam but the previous ones I've had are USB cables that go to the camera in the back.
Recently had some body repairs done to the truck and the roof panel was replaced. I'm assuming they dropped the roof liner and now I see a black phone cable that looks like it's coming from the passenger side to the center dangling. It's much longer but I have it tucked away right now. What...
Doing the same install now and I got the wiring harness from Apollo Optics. I've wired it to the switch and it works but there's an extra ground wire and white wire I can't figure out what to do with. Is it to wire the dimming feature? If so how do I do that? Any help is appreciated!
How far of an offset can I go where the wheels can still go full tuck and not rub anything? I have the Eibachs up front. Initially thought about -15 offset I found locally for a steal but glad I didn't get them after reading this thread!
Considering the methods now with 0 offset?
Looking good, I have an opportunity to pickup some of the real beadlock zephyr wheels and been trying to find what a -15 offset would look like...thanks for the photos! Might have to pull the trigger on it now as well. I have the Eibachs up front so assuming clearance won't be an issue.
Yeah I'll try airing up to 38 on the trip back to see what I get.
I have the Deavers +3HD in the back actually and the truck is dead level with the weight in the back right now...slight rake if any actually.
What am I doing wrong here...my trip computer on the truck says 12 - 14.5 mpg (city/highway) regardless of how I'm driving. Just drove home for Thanksgiving, Dallas Texas to Ashburn Virginia, and I averaged 14 mpg according to the trip.
Stock tires, Eibach springs up front and maybe 400lbs...
Yup, it definitely is a hike to get anywhere. I used to live in VA and took the Tacoma out to the Rocky's a couple times a year. I think I can fathom an 8-hour drive haha
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look and hopefully try and find time to get out there soon!
