My brand new 24' R does this as well. Its probably happened 3 times and I haven't even burned 1 tank of fuel.

I had all 3 going for me... I buy a decent amount of vehicles through the dealer, ordered it 2.5 years ago before they even came out, and my buddy has bought like 20 trucks from them recently so I had him put in the order for me.

Overall the ride is much more composed and less clunky. I even had the shocks replaced on my 22' for the infamous clunking rear shocks... I haven't had this off-road yet so I'm not sure how different that will be.

I’m reviving this thread from the dead… I finally got my Raptor R! If you look back at my first post the “2nd dealer” came through for me! It took over two years and I got their second allocation. The first was a 23’ and the second was this 24’. I paid about 5k over MSRP (it was 118,00...

Just picked up mine this evening! Things a beast! I traded in my regular old 22’ for it.

This just happened to me an hour ago. 22’ with 7600 miles. Pressed the start button and bang! I can’t believe the speakers can even get that loud. So now I have the rattle suspension, poor panel fitment, crap paint, a loud shudder/vibration on startup, and random explosions out of the speakers...

I had a super loud explosion out of my speakers today… scared the sheeet out of me. Wondering if this is a similar issue?

Oh for sure. I’m not holding my breath. If I don’t get one I don’t really care. I’d love to have an R for close to MSRP but not 10k + over msrp. I’ve had 2 gen 3’s and they’re kinda shitty to be honest.

Hahahaha. I know these things better then most. I was burned on 2 regular Raptors by 2 different dealers. The dealers are scum.

Seems to be the average asking price. I have one lined up for 5k over but the dealer admitted they sold mine to a different customer and that I’ll get the next one. So we’ll see if that actually happens. Haha

What dealer did you get yours from? I’m also in MN with one ordered and speaking with a few other dealers that have trucks coming in.

I’m not on Facebook but maybe my wife will join for me. Do you guys do any other meet ups or off-road adventures? My wife is from the Wilmar area and there’s an off-road park near by that I’ve been wanting to check out.

You must be right! I just looked it up and it was this weekend. I’ve never heard of it. I’ll have to put it on the calendar for next year.

You’re truck isn’t finished yet. It’s most likely on chip hold. Once it’s built it will get a check mark in the circle. I had one truck take 6 months and one truck 1 week from the point youre at now….

My first gen 3 took 6 months to get after running down the production line. My second gen 3 only took about 3 weeks from start of production to delivery.

I have two 22’ raptors. If I had more time I’d share more pictures but the build quality of the first one sucks. The paint is god awful (there’s dirt, dust, and debris in it) and the panel gaps are atrocious. The second raptor is much better.

My dealer honored the price protection so the MSRP was 76,410 for me. If I didn’t buy it they were going to sell it for 5,000 over the new MSRP which was 80,245 so anyone buying it would have paid 85,245 plus tax
