I have been thinking about that, would have to leave around 4am to get there around noon. I guess the good part is there won't be much MD traffic to worry about.
Have you watched any for the videos from the past Havoc events or the promo video for Havoc4? Havoc Video Gallery | Great Lakes Raptor Excursions (GLRE)
The trails that are in the videos may not be the exact ones used for Havoc4 but should give you an idea. I think you will enjoy it so much...
Photos
The photographers that “They” had at Havoc were participants in the event just like the rest, I my case one of my other hobbies is photography. I do not consider myself a professional photographer; I would say that a Photography Enthusiast better describes me. I consider myself fortunate...
Jeff, Knowing a thing or two about radios I will try to help. I do not own this specific radios but from doing a little research it looks to be an easy radio to manually program.

SnoBall 2014 was my second GLRE event and at that time I had a stock truck at mid-perch and had no problems. Check out the list of must have items along with suggested (beginning of thread) and you should be fine, it has been my experience the GLRE guys have provided me with very good guidance...
The list is on the first page of this thread, its labled "Registered Participants". From the photos and the course map it looks like we are in for a real fun event!
Thanks GLRE and the guys/gals that have helped to make this event happen!
Are you manually programming your radio or are you using software? No Tone and Tonesq are used. Check Menu 10-13 (at least that is were they are on my BF-F8+). In software I have "Chirp" it has those values but you have to enable it "Tone Mode" field.
