You are certainly on point. The NADA even sued a manufacturer recently for going direct to customers without dealers, thankfully they lost. Imagine the level of influence they have and the legal ground to even think they can sue it.

I don't know if it is better quality or not, but Rollnlock does not have the T-slots for a rack, compared to the RetraxPro. Also, Rollnlock product info says it locks in three positions, not any position you seem to want.
