My 2021 built in September of that year never received an update since new. I've tried toggling auto updates, being connected to wifi (basically parking on top of the router), disconnected, etc. At this point I'm OK just leaving it as is because I've had absolutely no issues with the software. I...
Agreed and agreed!
Same boat - just grease the seals a couple times a year and you'll have 0 issues. I open my sunroof every single time I drive the truck April-October practically. No issues whatsoever in 2.5 years.
While I do love VB I'm not sure it's the best color for stealth wrap. VB has a lot of depth and brightness to it and the stealth wrap takes away from that a bit. I feel like stealth wraps do best on neutral colors.
Also - no offense to any dealerships but I wouldn't trust their ceramic coating...
I've currently got 24k on my 2021 that I've owned since it was delivered in September of 2021 - I can say that this is my favorite vehicle I've ever owned without a doubt. I know that's very little by way of mileage but it's all I've got to go off of with the truck. It's held up well being...
From my research the 2021s are sitting on the market for about 65k (ranging from 40-70k miles. Doesn't look like there's a big price difference between the 35s and 37s so I'd hold out for the 37 if you wanted one. I think the 21 you linked is not a bad deal and the 801A package includes a lot -...
If you really want the HUD it's basically your only option. Unlike a lot of retrofits, you can't really throw this on a 21-23 because of the type of windshield needed to not duplicate the image of a HUD and the aftermarket ones just look like junk. I think it was a huge swing and a miss on...
Personally as soon as I see a “drag race” where it’s an EV vs a gas vehicle I instantly don’t care. There’s a tool for every job and it’s old news that EVs are quicker than traditional gas motors in most applications. It’s about the only leg up they have but it’s constantly everyone’s measuring...
Under a tree in my driveway and it breaks my heart. It's entirely too tall for my old northeast garage. It's either that or I street park it though. Sweet garage by the way!
I'm not sure what type of buyer would actually go for this truck at that price point. Dodge products always seem like one trick ponies, tons of power and straight line speed. Couldn't imagine buying a I6 Ram over a V6 Raptor if you're basically talking 6 figures for it after options/taxes/tags...
This isn't 2009 - turbos have been in these trucks for a long time now. They've progressively gotten more reliable from a powertrain standpoint since then. From what I've read you can't say the same about the 5.0L as it's becoming more and more complex with every iteration (oil burning, engine...
I'd walk if it has had 5 previous owners. You can find better options at that price point with those miles. If you insist on looking into this one you can check these forums for cam phaser rattle and keep your eye out for that. It's possible it's had the warranty work done in which it's largely...
Definitely stretch your budget to the Gen 3 if you find it in your ability to do so. You're getting a much more updated interior, better technology, a greatly improved suspension system, and the exhaust (when it doesn't rattle) sounds great for a V6. It's also been reported by most previous Gen2...
I wouldn't trust Carfax pricing with your truck. It's not common to find such a desirable spec in that condition, warrantied, with new tires, etc. All things Carfax doesn't REALLY take into account.
Incorrect - The Gen3 is better looking than the Gen2. That's a fact.
See the flaw in your logic? Myself (and a lot of people buying these trucks) happen to like the looks of both the Gen 3 and Gen 1 more than the Gen 2. I still think the Gen 2 is an amazing looking truck, but I just prefer the...
Wonder if you’ll be able to drop in a 2021-23 grille on a new model with minimal modification? I can’t imagine too much is changing on the quarters/hood.
