Huge thanks to the OP for this idea. This was my 3rd (and last) time replacing the ball past after it came loose in the 1 year I've had my Raptor.
I originally used a 21 inch piece of wood, it was too long. Ended up using a paint stir stick, right length but I'd suggest something a little...
I've had a loaded 2012 blue screw for a year now.
I love the tailgate step.
I love the moonroof and power sliding rear window.
I love my bedrug.
I love my remote tailgate lock (aftermarket)
The nav is a POS, doesn't show half the remote roads that my $120 Garmin does. But the rear camera...
I was driving to work this week at 6am, the traffic stopped suddenly in front of me. Thankfully my Raptor's huge tires and brakes stopped me in time, but the guy behind me wasn't so lucky. Wham! Right into the back of me, followed by three more impacts as the cars kept hitting. (Toronto has the...
Scientists Invent Scratch-Proof Paint | Fast Company
Self-healing materials have been invented before, but they have been clunky: They usually "bleed" epoxy, which then hardens; that requires a circulatory system for the goo, or microcapsules embedded in a medium. Now, a scientist has invented...
Go to edmunds.com, find out the wholesale price of what you want for options, then start calling around till you find a dealership that will sell to you at invoice price. They still make 3% on wholesale, plus bonuses from Ford for the number of vehicles sold.
I'm sure the Manufacturer might not recommend it, But I've had my kit in for a few months
, but I didn't attach the lower screws in the dead pedal. It hasnt moved at all. Great kit, highly recommended.
Ended up being the (apparently) cheap aftermarket halogens I put in. I put the factory bulbs back in, they're as good new. That means dim of course... gonna try to find some HID's. Thanks for your help.
Thanks, I didn't even realize there was another fuse box in the passenger compartment. Location #39, page 341 of the manual I apparently didn't read well enough.
Turns out the fuse was fine... the hunt continues. Maybe both lights burned out?
I've searched the owner's guide, this forum and the other and of course Google, all with no luck.... Could somebody please tell me what is the fuse number for the high beams. Mine are both out.
Thanks.
@Ironman... please, for the love of god, get rid of that video at the bottom of your posts, it's giving me seizures ever time I read one of your posts!
Well let me help you then. In addition to serving the purpose of a step, the super bumper also gives you added protection in the event of being rear ended, and peace of mind that some jack wagon in the parking lot won't be playing "park by feel" scratching up my shiny new Raptor. And it looks...
I'll be driving along, then out of the blue I hear a double chime for no apparent reason. It's happened three times. It's not the seatbelt because it's a different chime. It's not an ice warning because it was too warm today. There are no indicators on the dash board. Any ideas?
After you get your new bumper, be sure to check out superbumper. I got the model without the hitch. Get this Hitch Step from SUPERBUMPER! Help Eliminate Rear End Collision Damage with Patented Compressor System that's Proven & Tested
No, it's the end after I chime in ;) I drive a 45,000 lb HME Smeal fire truck for a living, there's no shame in admitting the front camera would be great for parking, (especially in my garage) if it were as easy to activate as the rear camera (automatic under 5mph). I have it, I never use it...
I've seen way too many ejections over the years, too many dead people because for whatever reason they didn't want to take 1 second to buckle up. The worst is the dead kids because the parents didn't buckle them up in the back seat.
My Raptor is in the body shop as we speak getting the bumper replaced, so I've done the research, luckily I'm not paying for it. Just the metal bumper costs $1267.63 in Canada. It comes unpainted and there are two colours on it so paint and labour are extra. If you need the two bumper covers...
Very well written Warsurfer. As I've posted somewhere before, in January I had a long conversation with an ecoboost engineer from Ford. I used to be a motorcycle road racer and rebuilt my own motors, so I know my way around an engine, he could tell so he didn't dumb down the conversation. He...
