I don't have the tools (or the patience) for it. My buddy owns an exhaust shop so I had him do it. Practically have to remove the entire exhaust system to get to the adapters. He said the biggest pain was removing the original studs.
The turbo adapters have been dyno tested and add about 20 hp. The downpipes may be worth it if you were to upgrade the turbos but the data shows a decrease in power when adding downpipes to a stock turbo truck (according to the youtube comments).
The turbo adapters are a cheap 20 hp but are a...
Had the turbo adapters, intake and thermostat installed. What a difference! Had a chance to get really aggressive with it and am very happy with the mods and MPT tune. Just waiting on the CVF intercooler to arrive.
Thanks for that info. I didn't realize the turbos were the limiting factor. I guess this explains why the 3.5 and 3.5 HO make about the same amount of power when tuned.
I was expecting more from their 93 PRX tune. There's more power but nothing earth shattering. People posting things like,, "Wow!! Completely different truck" and "Holy $hit, what a difference" with the MPT tune. I Didn't have that experience. I haven't got a chance to put many miles on it since...
Shipped them back yesterday at a cost of $103. Should've done more research before pulling the trigger. CVF intercooler, 170 degree thermostat, turbo adapters and new plugs going in next week!
Anyone know if the ngauge is locked to the truck or can it be sold and used on a different vehicle?
Hello all. While I don't have a raptor, I have a limited with the HO motor and similar exhaust set up. I have the SPD catted downpipes sitting at home and, after reading some posts, I'm not sure if i'll be gaining anything from putting them on. Definitely putting on the turbo adapters and...
Hate to resurrect this thread but im curious about the Cobb/goosetune. I have the MPT 93 -PRX with ngauge. There's definitely a difference in performance from stock but it's not a 'Holy $hit this is fast' kind of difference. Maybe I should send MPT a datalog and see if they can tweak the tune a...
My '19 limited range sucks as well. Funny thing is... most times it won't even work if parked right outside the door and sometimes it works 100' away. When it does work, if I press the button again to make it stop, it does nothing. I have to wait 20 or so seconds for it to work again. It has a...
