After much deliberation and research, I went with the Toyo A/T 3. Have had Nitto Ridge Grapplers and BFG KO2s, but these might be my favorite. Something about the look that I just like. Rides great so far. Definitely not as heavy and sluggish and squared off as the RGs, and a little more...
Sorry if this has been asked before. If it has, I can’t find an exact answer…
For standard Gen 2 2018 Beadlocks, with current 315/70/17 BF KO2s, what would I need to consider if wanting to switch to Niito RG 35/12.5/17?
Weight? Nittos are heavier, but not sure exactly how much. Road noise...
Love the look of these, but will be needing new tires in the next 8-12 months or so and would rather buy 17’s. Located in Houston.
These tires have approx. 10k miles of tread left on them (don’t have the exact mm tread measurement).
Wheels are in great / perfect shape. Anyone interested in...
Once again, the Jan. ‘22 Houston Auto Show didn’t have a Raptor. Barely even had any quality trucks. Lots of Sports and XLTs. Almost feel bad for Ford— they apparently have zero clue of how to cater to or wow their existing and / or future customer base.
As a comparison, the Ram exhibit was...
My Gen 2 was broken in to the exact same way in San Antonio back in October. Nice hotel— Courtyard Marriott in Stone Oak. Woke up to a Ford Pass alert on my phone of the door being opened at 3:15am. Thugs pulled my horn cord with a clothes hanger hook through the front grill, so the alarm went...
So were you planning on buying one already and this was the surprise perfect one? Or was this an impulse buy, like I do at Costco?
If it were an impulse buy, then Congrats on having waaaay more money than this poor dude does...
Definitely agree with others. Drive it stock for a while and just spend time lurking / participating on here. You’ll come up with lots of ideas.
2 biggest factors will be: warranty and budget. Depending on those 2 things, you’ll narrow down your options greatly.
Some other ideas to...
Another vote for Flood. Here’s what I bought last year for my 2018 w/ 35k miles (at that time). Cost $1,260.
Basically gives me 4 yrs. / 65k miles after the original 3yr. / 36k mile expired.
ESP Contract:
PremiumCARE
$200 Deductible
7 years
100000 miles
Welcome from Pearland, TX! Mine came w/ 20" wheels as well-- just waiting for an opportunity to go back to 17's. Agreed that the 17's look more natural with the truck. 20's look better on a F250 or King Ranch F150, but not the Raptor, in my humble opinion.
Jeff-Ohio— where did you buy those? I like that on the sides. Agree that a decal may be better for the hood, but do like the raised emblem there. The hood is so freakin big and wide, it looks pretty natural there.
