Figure of speech ;) I could never get comfortable in the Ford. I’ve never been able to get comfortable in any modern Ford it seems. Bad lower back issues, and the deep seat design without vertical lumbar adjustment was just brutal for me. Gave it a try, wasn’t for me.

Not exactly oem, but I have these on my truck and they surprisingly look factory. They fit perfectly on the bottom outside of the mirror and don’t interfere with the blind spot light. Makes a world of difference being able to see the blind spots. Can’t beat them for $20. Made by wade star...

Ah, yes, the pushing effect is real with these types of multi-piece hitches, especially with lower tongue weight. Good point.

I've been using a Weight Safe for a few years, on a few different vehicles. That's just how they look when they are hooked up. To many loose(ish) tolerances all connecting together. Nothing to worry about.
