This is just another GMC Trailboss. My dad had 2 GMC/Chevy trucks in the past 10+ years and they were both in the shop a lot. Sometimes over and over for the same electrical issues etc. This truck is not even close to being a Raptor new or old. The GM game is weak.
Pour a heaping cup of sugar on a slice of homemade apple pie and you basically have the same concept as the Shelby raptor. Totally unnecessary and gaudy as hell in my opinion. Just save some money and buy a brand new 2020 Raptor and mod it yourself if it's not enough for you in stock form.
I just picked up a 801a 2020 SCAB also last month. 10 past Mustangs here.
No B&O is actually a good thing. There's a guy making a custom harness that goes between your head unit and the in-out harness that allows you to connect a sound processor and amplifiers then feed the amplified signal...
I take mine to my driveway. That way I know the guy working on it is going to do it right. Most Ford quick lanes I see are filled with high school or college age looking guys who look like they really don't give a shit about doing a good job on your truck. Last time I took my truck to a quick...
Better get one right now before they are all gone. Who knows when Ford will introduce the new one and you may not even want it. Not to mention the price will be much higher with a new version for at least 2 years or so with dealer markups. You may need to travel out of state to get what you are...
After it runs through an insurance claim it will be on a Carfax etc. You may be better off buying a bumper from eBay. There are a lot of cheap original takeoffs out there & replace any other parts that are bent yourself. Otherwise you're going to take a hit when you go to resell it. Also insist...
Please explain to us how renewable energy is going to power up the entire power grid in the USA or better yet the rest of the world. I'm assuming you don't know how power plants actually get their energy.
Until your entire roof system is composed of solar panel shingles there is not much point to the idea of electric cars saving the environment. If Tesla was really interested in conservation they would focus more on range and less on speed.
The owners manual calls for Motorcraft 5w30 and a FL500-S filter. That's what I am using today at my first change at 1,700 miles. I don't put a ton of miles on my trucks and usual change the oil at 3,500 at the most. There is nothing wrong with using the oil and filter specified by the...
Anyone doing much over 100 MPH in a pickup truck on public highways has to have sh!t for brains. I hit the low to mid 90s on a 80 MPH interstate, but that never felt like a great idea. Speeding tickets aside, some people are just foolish.
Hotels suck. I flew out to the twin cities from Utah a week ago and picked up my raptor. The most stressful part of planning the trip was finding lodging where my new truck wouldn't get messed with. I opted for a B&B well outside of Rapid City and I'm glad I did.
My local dealer told me that a dealer near Denver had a SCAB 801A leadfoot in transit. I prefer the 801 myself especially with all the upgrades they did to the package for 2020.
