    Roadmaster Active Suspension - Gen.2

Did you get them off? To take them off you will want to Jack the rear of the truck up so the springs are free to hang to limit compression on rollers. I used a ratchet with Allen/hex bit on driver’s side, as the head side is towards the outside. On passenger side I had to use an Allen key, as...

    Roadmaster Active Suspension - Gen.2

I took the roller bracket off per the directions. I’ve had no issues off-roading or hauling our 24’ bow rider.

    Roadmaster Active Suspension - Gen.2

The directions indicate an additional step for Raptors to remove the roller bracket. I did so on my setup. I’ve had no issues doing so. I believe the purpose of the roller bracket is to preload the bottom overload springs, since the RAS adds a preload, it’s not needed. The bottom springs fully...

Let's be real about it ... Should I just trade for a 250?

I’m curious why you mention the jump to a F-250 rather than comparison to an F-150? An F-250 is a beast of a workhouse and likely way more than you need based on what listed above. Are you having issues with sag with your current setup?

    Roadmaster Active Suspension - Gen.2

If you mean 25% (Two gage shims are provided; one for setting to 25% and another for 40%) I am estimating probably around an inch. The Raptor takes a different part number than the regular F-150s. It is a standard duty.

    I’m estimating around 350lbs.

    Roadmaster Active Suspension - Gen.2

Just installed, went for an unloaded cruise yesterday evening and was quite impressed. A little smoother ride, less sway, and when you punch it at a stoplight it just goes with no fuss. Stay tuned I’ll let you know how she rides with 6,000lbs (boat & trailer) behind her. I did briefly hook up...

    Roadmaster Active Suspension - Gen.2

I used the black thickness gage, which is the 40% setting. It raised my back end by 2.5” over stock, which was perfect for my setup as the front with RPG collars was sitting an 1” higher than the rear. Now I have a subtle 0.5” rake.
